I've had this flashlight for a little over a year. I love the swivel head, magnetic base and brightness options. The ultra low light has been especially useful for moving around the house at night but not disturbing anyone. The swivel head and magnetic base have been awesome for getting light right where I need it and this was useful when I did some work on my car and had the light attached to the underside of the hood. I even bought my wife the smaller Rofis as I liked it so much.Having said all of that, the power button started giving me issues at about 6 months of use. It was sliding up and making it where you couldn't trigger the button press very easily. After a lot of effort, I was able to get the button to slide back down, but it would go right back up the next time I would need to use it. Since you need to be able to click the button quickly to move through settings, it started to really limit what the light could do. Now at a little over a year old, the light is almost completely useless. I'm very dissatisfied to have paid so much for a flashlight that I have to admit was really fantastic while it was working, to then have it completely fail like this. I don't know what the warranty is on the light so not sure if I can get it fixed. I would have to suggest anyone looking at this light to look elsewhere.

Thought this was one of the most useful flashlights i have owned up until this past week when the wireless charger stopped working. Pretty useless now. Had concerns about the proprietary magnetic charger and now ill either have to get an external charger or hope for a replacement.Wrote the seller an email, hoping that they will respond. Will upgrade review rating if we are able to resolve this.1/19/19: The seller replaced the flashlight for the above issue. Now for the last couple months, it wont turn on unless i unscrew the tail cap, let the battery slide out some and then screw the tail cap back on.This 2nd light was only used for a brief period after receiving it before this issue started happening. Its happening almost every time i go to use the light. Id say find another light if your looking for something thats going to be reliable.

One of the most useful flashlight I have ever owned, haven't found an issue or a bad thing a bout it yet so will see in the future.Updated 02-12-2020 well sofar I have found out that my cool-white model magnetic charger port does not put a charge on the battery on board and I recently order the Natural-white and works properly, regardless I still enjoy both model because the charging port on my Cool-white not working is not a big deal since I always charge my batteries on my 4 bay charger.Update 05-07-2020Though I update, I must say both flashlight are still working and at this point I can point out some improvements for next model, so here I go= make the next R3 model with on-off switch out of some kind of metal for more durability, a pocket clip that would allow the user to insert the flashlight tip down into the pocket for more protection of the head and a more easier headband holder because it is a little bit harder to removed it from the orange silicone.

What can I say, it’s a flashlight with good dimensions, good build quality, and more practical than just about any flashlight on the market. I own a few of these 18650 lights and this one is tops them all. It’s a game changer if it holds up over time.It could use a carry pouch and the clip is difficult to remove. The rubber button would be better in Alu, or some other material. Headband digs into forehead after a while, but secure. Heats up pretty quick in turbo but that amount of light is seldom needed for my purposes. Not a thrower, average spread, but good balance. Neutral white version.

Love the design. Magnet and swivel are great features. But the power switch LED on both my Rofis lights are showing green/red LED light bleed from the side of the power switch. Also the R3 power switch LED does not light at all when charging or checking for battery level. The swivel became loose with hardly any use. The other reviews show their support is lacking. There is only an email link. Not too optimistic about this brand. Well see how it goes but I am not a buyer of the brand if two lights are failing so soon with little use. This is bad luck or a bad company.

Skyben took the time to answer my pre-sale question and that communication gave me great confidence buying the flashlight. When it arrived it was exactly as described. If they weren't so expensive, I would buy another one immediately. I would buy it from Skyben because he took the time to answer my question before the sale. Perfect small flashlight. Fast shipping from the vendor. Doesn't get any better than this. Two thumbs up.

I've had this light 7 months and another Rofis sent me just recently. There seem to be a serious issue within the circuity that the light will turn off shortly after is on as other reviewers have mention.The 1st light work fine for about 4-5 months. Costumer Service ([email protected] ;) did work with me, they ask for a video of it turning off. I sent it. They sent me a new light and after I received it in 1 day, same issue. Sent another message to them, crickets....but hope their reading this!I will say I really like the features of the swivel head and magnetic tail. I used it everyday, work and home.So I can speak for the Rofis 1 or 2 but this R3 is a no go. It would be great to get my $80 back but would much rather have a working R3!

I was surprised at the flashlight's compact size. It certainly packs a punch when you set it on HIGH. I have cataracts which makes it very difficult to see at night. The brightness of this flashlight (no yellow hues) enables me to see so I can take the dog for a walk in a very dark neighborhood. It comes with a headband so that you can wear this on your head so you can be hands-free for whatever you're doing. I've never needed it so far, but I have it handy just in case I do. I highly recommend this for anyone who has trouble seeing in the dark...this truly brightens up the area!

On arrival this was a great light. There's lots to like. The feel of it is very premium. The hotspot is nice and wide for general tasks. It has an Olight inspired UI which is fantastic. For a rechargeable, if you care about that kind of thing, it's nice that it doesn't have some flimsy rubber flap trying to protect an outdated Micro-USB port, as most rechargeable do.Two cons, which have brought down the rating are:The tint on the neutral white version is awful. Generally a neutral white tint is a white that tends towards a certain colour, or feels more like an incandescent than cool white does. The tint on this LED just looks like a cool white LED with a yellow filter over top. It feels very artificial compared to other neutral white LED lights I've owned. It's possible I've just lost the tint lottery on this light, but other reviews say the same.The second con is the fragile switch. I've given this light to other people and have gotten it back to find that the electronic switch has moved to a different place underneath the silicon/rubber cover. It takes some effort to get it back into place and it's already put noticeable stress on the cover. This has happened a few times. Not a quality switch implementation.Other things to note: There should be a cheaper version of this light that doesn't include an 18650 battery as it's somewhat common, people may prefer supply their own.

Very good and powerful flashlight, the only thing that’s bothering me is that i don’t find a place to buy another charging cable and Rofis didn’t answer my email. Against that I would buy it agay anytime and am looking forward to buy others models from them as well.
