Can be cut to customize fit
Our contractor put these under our wheelchair-accessible sink, and they're great, both to protect against burns or scrapes and to make the plumbing blend visually into the wall. But our pipes were a little too long and had an extra piece sticking out. So I bought one more and was able to cut it cleanly and wrap it around for a more finished look. Easy peasy.
