I have two of these, one at each house. They both suffer from the same problems of very low WIFI signal strength. No matter where I place the WIFI router, the signal strength for both of these is very low and varies alot. When the signal goes low, the unit drops off connectivity and may also record clips that won't playback. Very frustrating. I experimented by moving the routers all over the place until I got four bars on each camera. Only then will they operate properly. After, they are okay cameras, okay night vision and motion triggering works great. But be prepared to play with them, and .... if your WIFI router isn't in the room adjacent to the camera, .... forget about it!!

I wouldn’t recommend this camera. The camera only records when motion is detected. That would be fine if the motion detection software was a little more intelligent. I get over 50 false positives a day. If a car passes by at night and it sees headlights bleed over to the detection area it triggers a false positive for motion. If it is a partly cloudy day and a cloud goes by creating a shadow, false positive. If it is raining or snowing hard, false positive. This is with the motion detection set on low. The picture is okay. When you zoom in it is pretty grainy. I can’t read a license plate more than 20 ft away. I wouldn’t buy another one of these camera’sUpdate 08/18/2019The camera has failed due to condensation building up inside the lens making the camera unusable. Definite thumbs down for this camera. We'll see if Honeywell will repair it.

Though this camera has a good picture, it is no better than the Nest cameras I have. Biggest problem is the camera is triggered by the slightest change in shadows from clouds despite having it on the lowest sensitivity setting which is incredibly annoying. My Nest camera is far more accurate with respect to picking up actual movement, cars, animals, etc. For the money, I think there are much better alternatives on the market

Can't recommendI have 4 of these and as far as I can tell the night vision does not work.No hope of being able to identify details such as people or license plates, so what's the point of a camera. People look ghostly figures. A cat moving across the parking pad looked like a ghostly python.Poor wifi connection also. The wifi antenna is very short (weak signal for camera 20 feet from the router). Awaiting my fourth trip from the installer. I have a great wifi signal throughout my house.Daytime quality is good, but Cameras drop wifi connection periodically and go offline.Can set camera zones and sensitivity, but headlights, especially on foggy nights tend to trigger even when not close to even low sensitivity zones.Two cameras where there is no ambient light (just the IR lights ) always show a halo ( bright semi circle) on the videos at night.Supplied wifi antenna very short and may contribute to weak signal strength. Also antenna comes straight out of top of camera and so forces you to point camera downward from a low height position such as above garage door. Try to raise the camera close to level and it hits the house soffit.I gave it 2 stars because it works ok during the day, except for intermittently going offline due to dropped signal. 2 might be too high.

I agree with the other reviewers’ comments on false alarms from headlights and precipitation, and poor image quality at night. The IR reflection on these is bad, making night images very poor. The lagtime for getting a live image is excessive even with good signal strength. I recommend against buying this product.

Same here as the others. The motion detection is so sensitive even when you set it to low sensitivity that any slight change in shadows or a leaf blowing across the patio will set it off over and over. A true waste of money that will inevitably make it so you turn off the motion detection all together. Other than that they are good but that one huge feature is a totally failure with this product.

Too many false positives on the motion sensing. During rain and snow these are a nightmare.
