Surprised at the quality
I expected a cheap knick-knack but it's a surprisingly good pair of scissors. Docked a star because the handle tends to slide off slightly when cutting tougher materiels but it's perfectly adequate for paper and packages.

Cheap trash
One of the handles is loose on arrival. There’s plastic seems on the side and definitely not gold coated. Its cheap shiny plastic. The blade is not smooth. Not sharp enough to be compared to a katana in any way. Cheap coloring to give it the look of a hand forged metal but it’s cheap metal. Had better hope because it’s japanese but the product is not high quality. Disappointed. It’s a 5-10$ maximum scissor. Paid close to 50$ for this junkReturning it

Was expecting a bit bigger, but overall they are still cool and so far very sharp.
More than a novelty. Authentic appearance. Sharper than I expected, and they look cool. Nice addition to my desktop
