Ceramic Water Sharpener - Red

I have a couple of Global knives and have used the wet stone to keep them sharp for a couple of decades. Some attempts came out really well and others not fantastic. I have given this sharpener a go and was surprised how easily and quickly I could sharpen the knives. Passed the slicing well ripened tomatoes test!

We have a set of Global knives which, as Japanese knives, have a different blade angle than Western knives. The Global sharpener is easy to use and works very well on knives with this different blade angle. If you buy a Global knife, or other Japanese made knives, this is a good way to keep sharp,.

This one will work on any of your global knives. Tried it on my old Wustof, which was pretty much flat from dullness, which didn't really work but that could be because of the bevel or simply because it's too old. The 7 in chef's knife and vegetable knife are razor sharp now and will nick you if you're not careful 😆

I was impressed how well the sharpener worked with my global knife set! I put off buying this sharpener for years since it was expensive but I’m glad I finally bought it. Don’t forget to fill it with water and you don’t need to put pressure on the blade when sharpening back and forth.

Wonderful piece of equipment. It has my Global knives razor sharp within 30 seconds or so. No damage to the blades either unlike several other sharpeners on Amazon
