I am a detdiler and give these to customers after I have done some odor neutralization to remove the sourse of the odors. My customers seem to like them so I guess they are doing something. I have tried them myself in my work truck to catch odors from products or junk I am dragging in to my truck from places I work at, and to be honest I dont really notice significant difference. So my take is if you dont remove the sources of the ofors before using these, obviously you will still have an odor problem, this will not magically remove the problem, but once the source is removed it will catch the lingering odors and help fading it out. But give it a couple of days, it will not absorb odors in five minutes. And activate the charcoil in the sun for about 30 min after opening the package. This can be done every 2-4 weeks for a few months before they are done working. And reseal the package air tight if you have other bags not being used so their life span wont run out before using the next one.

The BMBU bags did an acceptable job of helping with odors. I used one in the trunk of my car that got damp and was stinky. I used two in my front closet that was full of stinky shoes. Both areas had improved smell but the bags didn’t completely get rid of the smells in either area. I liked that the bags had grommets/holes with string. It made them easier to hand where ever I wanted. In the posting there was a great description of all the places the bags could be used. And there were recharge directions. But when I first used the bags they didn’t appear to work because they needed to be charged in the first place (which I figured out from a competitors site). Once I set them out in the sun for hours, THEN put them in the stinky places, they started tackling odors. I wish the company said where the bags were made and what they were made of. One of the competitors had a great video describing the eco-friendly practices they used with their bags. I do like that the BMBU bags are fragrance and chemical free!

The charcoal Bmbu bags with the loop to hang them by have worked well so far. The pack of four I got are in our hall bathroom (have had trouble with it smelling even after cleaning), linen closet that used to house a litter box (so it's still smelly), my boy's room, and our van. Within 24-48 hours I could tell a noticeable difference in the bathroom that it didn't smell bad anymore. My husband noticed, too, and commented that it was nice that it didn't stink anymore. The closet and boy's room are slowly smelling better. I haven't driven anywhere, so I'm not sure about the van yet.The products did not come with directions, which if I hadn't used charcoal bags before I'd feel totally at a loss to know what to do. There was a handwritten thank you note which I thought was a nice touch.Overall I would recommend these products.

I wanted to at least give it 24hrs before I wrote a review. First off when I look at the package it’s all black so it’s bound to get lost in our house. I put on in 4 different areas. One in my husbands smelly pt car, one in my sons room, on in a room where the dog is and one in our daughters room. When you go to smell the bag I smell nothing honestly. I went and smelled my husbands car and there is a difference in the smell doesn’t smell nearly as bad which is nice. My sons room since his door is shut all the time it helped too with the stale smell since he doesn’t like the fan on. However I didn’t notice a difference where the dog is or in my daughters room. Where the dog is though it’s a wide open floor plan pretty much so one isn’t going to cut it. Then my daughters room is huge and she never closes the door and she has a air purifier in there. So I can’t tell either. But in smaller rooms and or in closed areas it worked! Not bad for the price

I went in with low expectations when I bought this. I recently obtained a car, with fabric upholstery that had been sitting unused for almost a year and had developed a very stale and musty smell. I changed the cabin filter which helped some with the odor when the car was driving, but when it was sitting the stale musty smell was still present.So I put all 4 bags in the car, securing them to the headrest supports. After several days, the odors were almost entirely gone from the car. I'm a big believer now in this product, and I'll be ordering another set for our other car.

We just bought a used car from the east coast (we live in Nevada). The car definitely had something going on with a musty smell in the interior. My wife and daughter both have 'super sniffers', and would not stop complaining about the smell. We had the interior steam cleaned, and it got only a little better. As a last resort, we bought the odor eliminator bags (I bought 4 since it is a large SUV and I wanted to make sure it got the whole car covered). After 1 day, there wasn't a big difference. 2 days, my wife said the smell seemed to be going away. After day 5 she drove the car and could not smell any of the musty smell. Success!

I ordered these bags to put in my kids room. She has allergies and wanted to see if it would help with it. After hanging 2 bags in her room. I noticed that she didn't have a stuffy nose at night like she usually complain about because of her allergies. I like the price compared the other products and that it has a string already there for you to hang. It was also very thoughtful for the owner to send a personalized thank you note with the product. I am ordering more to put throughout the house. Great price and great service.

I am obsessed with smells and want to ban takeout containers for my whole family. That being said I cannot force my children to finish meals at restaurants and i am too cheap to toss it.. we also eat in the car at times... I THINK these products work really well but not sure how to test that. My car never smells. I have like 8 of them though...
