Those Dang Bluejays will never have a free meal again
I had the WORST luck with Blue Jays eating all my eggs! Ugh it was so maddening! I tired the fake owl, sparkly ribbon, little pin wheels that spun in the wind and hung CD's from the ceiling, NOTHING deterred the birds! So i just spent the extra money and purchased this and its been AMAZING! one chicken refuses to lay in it, but all the other hens took to it within a couple of days, i just made sure to keep straw in it for the first week, and now i removed the straw and they still lay. It does collect eggs quickly because it has small holding bins (so the Blue Jay did get one egg) but that was my fault for letting the eggs stack up for 2 days. This is a splurge that is worth the money!

Easy to assemble, sturdy, nice design
I hate to even type this- but these are better than a similar product I've purchased a few times in the past made in the USA. These foreign nest boxes are a lot sturdier, a bit easier to assemble, and doesn't have a wood perch that gets nasty really fast after the hens scrape the paint off. Although these are smaller than the USA ones I had been buying, they are also a lot less expensive. Normally I'm willing to pay more $ for a USA produced model but at the end of day I'm shopping for the best product. The packaging is super sturdy and even the USPS wasn't able to bend or damage the contents even though the outer packaging showed that they tried. To be honest, I only bought them because of the awesome black Friday deal, but now that I've assembled and installed them, I might buy these again at full price. If they start rusting out or the plastic breaks or gets brittle I'll update the review, but brand new and installed I'm cautiously impressed so far.

Very nicely built. Easy to clean.
I would have given this product 5 stars but it said that it accommodates 10 hens. I have 8 and it did not accommodate them. I have since bought the 3 hole and it accommodates them. I will need possibly more holes for when my 18 pullets start laying. It is easy to put together and easy to clean. For that I would give 5 stars. I was worried that they would perch on the perch but they do not.

Good nest box
Easy to put together. The hens are laying in it, but. Not all of them. Hopefully, they will all figure it out, but with chickens you never know. I bought it because the eggs roll away, so they don't get too dirty.

Assembly was not user friendly
I read so many reviews that said how easy the assembly was. Overall it wasn’t bad but for the life of me I could not figure out how the drawer slides. Everything fit and lined up perfectly. But when I went to slide the drawer things in, it was SO tight that I felt like I was never going to get it back out. The opening of the drawer bar was just not wide enough. We made it work but it was way harder than it should’ve been. Time will tell if my chickens like it.

Tray locks not so hot
I really like this next box, but it is hard to give it the five star review for one reason. The trays slide in to the box and are held by two small extruded, for lack of a better word, nibs on the tray. These nibs are just barely tall enough to hold the tray in place. To release the tray you lift the metal cross bar slightly and pull the tray out. This makes for a very easy way to remove the trays for cleaning but it also makes the trays less secure in the box. Some sort of more solid lock would be better. But over all I would give this next box a 4.5 star review if I could. Well worth the money.

Nice and affordable product
The assembling was a bit tricky (small bolts, unclear instructions) but the video answered a my questions. Nice nesting box, clean look. My young hens are already inspecting it. I've seen similar boxes in the store for twice the money. Would buy again.

Excellent Product
The only thing I would change about this is the entire lay box has a perforated bottom which does allow the eggs to roll forward but nest material falls through so must use coconut fiber mat or the like. Awesome box. Easy assembly

Chickens hate this
overall the concept is great but its flimsy and too small. the trays do not lock in well enough and my chickens hate it, i've had it installed for a few weeks and had to fix it several times because the chickens dislodged the trays. over this time they have only actually layed in them twice ( I have 19 birds) the majority now lay on the floor. So I have replaced it with my old homemade boxes and am throwing this in the trash.Do not waste your money.
