Right part, right price
Bike shop said chain, wheelset, and cassette were worn, but wanted $250 for parts and labor. I already had the tools, done this exactly once before. Got everything I needed for under $80, just a matter of time (and park tools youtube channel) and my commuter is back and ready for the road. No chain guard, which is how it is described; if you are okay with that, the part is perfect.

Well made
The one I got did not have a chain guard (apparently that's what NOCG means) even though the picture the chain guard. Other than that, it has worked well. You must have a crankset remover to get the crankset off.

need more dimension specifications
As part of self education, I am replacing the BB and front/rear gear sets on a MY2000 Raleigh M80 MTB (7x3 speed). Already installed the BB and the rear gear cassette several days ago which were almost exact duplicates. The OEM crank set is Shimano Altus 24x32x38-170mm but this Altus set was the closest I could find on Amazon. It arrived yesterday and I quickly noticed that the OEM crank set are all flat gears and the new set has about 4 mm offset to the inside. The spacing is the same. Also the new unit had four prongs poking from the gears to the inside that interfered with the BB shell. Since this is an education project and not a lot of money is involved, I removed the offending prongs with a Dremel tool. I realized that the offset to the center would change the front/rear chain alignment slightly but that could be accommodated. After installation and a lot of adjusting, I now realize that the clamp-type derailleur linkage mechanism interferes with the seat tube when I try to make it shift to the inside small gear. The small gear is inside the outside edge of the shell. For the time being I will be one of the progressive riders switching from three to two front gears. My complaint is that the specifications do not address that this unit has an offset to the inside. More images might help. To be fair, I Googled this problem and found others have complained about the same thing for internet purchases. The pricey solution is to visit your LBS and look at the crank set before you buy.

Excellent upgrade for the money.
So I bought 29 hyper hydroform ($200) and didn’t want to go all out with a 1x drivetrain. This crankset 22/32/42 paired with the 14-34 MegaRange freewheel is great, plenty of gear reduction for up hill. I am a heavy and have not been biking long but this makes hill climbs for me easy. It’s not exactly light weight but it wasn’t any heavier than the stock crankset. Also since my Factory cranks were 24/34/42 my top speed didn’t change but mid and low did. Takes a while to adjust to the different gear ratios, but well worth the upgrade.

Fits perfectly and is working great. Old bike
Bent large gear on an 18 year old Suntour XR17 crankset. (Mongoose 5.3 bike). Ordered this one even though gears were slightly smaller - 42-32-22 (replacing 42-34-24). Fits perfectly and is working great. Old bike, wasn't worth spending a lot, this crankset was a good price.

Not enough dimensions listed to make a good decision about offset. Otherwise great
works great, the note about the bottom bracket size in not entirely accurate. It depends in the offset required to clear the seat stay and the front derailleur alignment. I bought the suggested bottom bracket and ended up using my old one to make the derailleur work right. Not enough dimensions listed to make a good decision about offset.

Cheap,but works for us
Products set just perfectly in works on my son's bicycle. He is 13 years old and does not do a lot of bicycling. However once I installed the new crank everything worked as it should he has rode the bike for almost 5 days with no issues at all. I just believe the material is a little flimsy. However you get what you pay for and I am not complaining as this is resolved my issue and both me and my son are both happy

Strong product and well built. Looks great too.
This was a replacement i picked for my 1993 trek mountain bike. It has the gears i was looking for. Tested it out today and i love it. Seems like a strong product and looks great on the bike. I am well satisfied. Shipping was fast and price was good. Will do business with seller again. Thank you. Now this old guy can pedal easier. ;-)
