Not what I was hoping for.
I had a clock like this on the bedside table in a hotel stay recently. Unfortunately, this model lit up from a single, harsh bulb over the number 2, not 12. Harder to read.

simple and very convenient
I bought this alarm clock when I was looking for a simple clock that would light up when needed and without making an annoying beep. This one being battery operated, it's also perfect for waking up on time even after a power outage, which happens a lot in tornado alley. My husband loved it so much he started stealing it from me on a regular basis, and so I ordered a new one. Unfortunately, our alarm clocks only match to a point. The new one has a louder tic-tac, and doesn't light up as readily (the first one just has to be moved with your fingertip. This one has to be picked up and put down two or three times). Had I bought just one, I would have given this item five stars. But it seems they are not all created equal. Still, the lesser version is a very decent alarm clock and fully deserves four stars.

Great clock, one flaw
This is a handsome, compact, and VERY quiet clock. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that this particular one has a broken feature. I have this same clock in a slightly different version of the "titanium" color (different seller and price, but still from Amazon), and that one has a feature that it lights up when lifted and set down again -- very helpful in seeing the time in the dark. On this clock, the little switch is present, but does not work. The clock face is a bit iridescent, but not enough to make up for the loss of the light-up feature.

Bai Pick-Me-Up Alarm Clock; Mega Titanium color
Bought this clock for my husband, who needed replacement for very similar one he has had for many years made by Braun. The Braun's alarm is screwy. So far, he likes the Bai. No complaints, except that he isn't fond of having to go into the battery. compartment to change the time; however, how often does one need to do that? It keeps good time. Hands are easy to see; clock face easy to read. He likes that a little light lights the face when clock picked up or moved; only stays on for moments.The shipping container was perhaps barely adequate. Clock didn't suffer shipping damage, but maybe could have. Was in its own little box which was slipped into a manila envelope.............the kind lined with bubble wrap material.

Waste of money. It is a cheap piece of crap
This thing does not keep accurate time, gains about an hour every 24 hours. Doesn't have a decent alarm and it only lights up when you pick it up. Has a tiny little side light. It is a piece of crap

Very good little plastic clock
This may seem like a lot to pay for a little plastic clock, but it's a very good little plastic clock. The "titanium" color fits in pretty well with brushed nickel fixtures in bathroom. Comes in other colors as well.
