Turned out to be too old to learn Vegas 17
Was exactly what I ordered. Shipping was very very slow.

Everything is in PAL format
It seems quite good and easy to follow,but the video lessons and samples are in PAL not NTSC so, although they will work it is not the best for USA users. I still recommend it just realize it was written for the PAL markets. Contacted their customer service and got a good, but very untimely reply. Couple of weeks for a final answer.

Helpful but...
It his helpful, but lacking. I would recommend it if you know absolutely nothing about Sony Vegas Pro, but as it says it is for beginners, it doesn't give you enough to get started.

Not the most interesting book to read. It's 2014, how do you get away with writting a book about VIDEO EDITING WITH NO COLOR!? 3 stars.

The Only Game in Town
This seems to be the only Vegas printed book available. All the rest are online only, a very inconvenient way to learn the program. This is a few generations back, but probably still very useful.

Look elsewhere for help.
Too difficult to navigate through the pages. Next time, I will buy the actual book. The content, not easy to decipher as far as I am concerned. Wish I had purchased a different tutorial.

Great book -- learned a lot
I am new to making videos and I chose Sony Vegas Pro 11 as my editing platform. This book got me up and running very quickly. It clearly explains everything you need to know to edit films and video presentations. I highly recommend it.

Issues sorted
Very useful guide for excellent software that does have a moderately steep learning curve. Solved a lot of issues for me, by explaining fully what I was doing incorrectly saving time and temper!

Para quién tiene ganas de empezar a aprender a utilizar el Sony Vegas, es una guia muy completa que enseña más que el básico!!Vale mucho la pena, pero está en inglés!!!!!!!!!!!
