1.5 Quart Ice Cream Maker

I have gotten spoiled by the old style ice cream makers. The ones with the ice and rock salt. They still work the best unless you have a lot of money to buy a fancy electric one.

I purchased this machine looking forward to making my own ice cream . I've only made ice cream one time. I've used this machine two other time since. Both times I started to make ice cream the motor got hot and it stopped. I have not made any more. I shall try to return it.

Works well. Is a bit of work because you have to stir the cream mixture by hand until it thickens, but I bought it for my 82 year old mother and she doesn't mind stirring while watching TV. It makes just enough ice cream to last her a day or two. She's tried a ton of recipes using both regular milk and coconut milk and it does the job.

My husband is highly allergic to ingredients in store bought ice creams, so I decided to try this one. It works great. My favorite recipe is using instant pudding (I can use the Jello brand). Here's the recipe.4 cups milk3 egg yolks1 pkg. (any flavor) instant pudding mixBeat egg yolks in 2 qt.pan, add 2 cups milk.Bring to boiling point (do not boil)Add 2 cups milk. Refrigerate 2 hours.Add pudding mix. Whisk till fairly smooth (small loops will disolve)Pour into freezer with it on.It takes about 20 to 3o minutes to make soft ice cream. I freeze it for 2 hoursin air tight containers..

This ice cream maker is easy to use and works very well. I have used it for ice cream and frozen yogurt and work great for both. I keep the tub in the freezer all the time so its ready for use anytime. It makes soft serve ice cream in about 30 minutes.

I was very disappointed with this item. When we went to use it the very first time when we plugged it in there was no power at all.Never did get the machine to turn on. What a piece of junk.

Good ice cream machine, only not big enough to make something extra. I'll recommend this to all ice cream lover.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product actually worked as described by the seller. I followed the directions and within 20 mins I was enjoying my favorite ice cream. I would definitely recommend this product.
