Foam Windscreen for Blue Yeti, MXL, Audio Technica, and Other Large Microphones - Gray

Had this on my blue yeti for 8 years never taking it off and completely forgot it didn’t come with the yeti.

I was able to fit this on my Blue Yeti but not without some force, It didn't rip But i would recommend that you try to find a windscreen with a better fitAlso of note, I have a small portable vocal booth as well as it is set on a spider shock mount, The widescreen combined with the mount added a bit of height to the microphone I had to take the top sheet out of the box, Something to keep in mind if you have a small box and have your microphone mounted from your desktop

I bought this for my Blue Yeti microphone to replace an even larger pop filter. It works even better than the filter I originally had, filtering out extraneous noises such as clicking, breaths, and pets from all sides at once. Placing the filter onto the microphone required slowly using a great deal of force on one side at a time, but it sits snugly on the microphone now with no signs of tearing and no metal top exposed.

It's a very expensive piece of foam. It's difficult to put on there but if you apply too much pressure it will rip. I was luckily able to get mine on damage free but not without a lot of hassle.

The windscreen does not fit the mic head as shown in the picture. I was able to make a couple of small slits with scissors and it fits fine now. Works as expected, so not a bad, cheap option.

I read up on all the reviews saying how this would be a snug fit on the Yeti and to just take it slow- it will fit perfect if you cross your fingers and wish hard enough.This windscreen slowly started ripping while being carefully (but forcefully) shimmied onto my mic. Even when ripped, the screen is nowhere near wide enough to fit around the Yeti. I owned it for a total of 4 minutes before it was unusable. This product is too small and too expensive. Do not buy.

I bought this in hopes that it would reduce the need for the Blue universal pop filter. For the life of me, I could not engineer a satisfactory solution to clamp that thing to the base of my Blue Yeti mic. The Foam Windscreen is a nice, snug fit, and the sound quality through it is excellent.

Fast shipping, fits perfect and the sound is so much better now. It really limits the ambient noise quite a bit
