Not sure whats up but I can say ordered this plugged into both usb ports and picks up the 5ghz getting 350mbps awesome was only getting 92mbps with hard wire due to 100 Ethernet connection..

waste your money
if you buy dreamlink w3 usb wifi you waste your money. i try 2 days speed is very slow and disconnected every 2 hours. I return this . Amazon received but no refund.
