VERIZON ELLIPSIS JETPACK 4G LTE (locked in Verizon)

I would give ZERO stars, but it is not an option. After multiple attempts to activate this device on my account, I took the device to the Verizon store. They were able to determine that the previous owners account data is LOCKED into the device; therefore, this device can not be activated until the information is cleared. Only the original owner has the login information. So yes, I’ve wasted $30

it came broken and never worked. after inserting an working sim card, it does not detect sim and keeps of flashing insert sim.made an return request and given second chance by ordering same kind of other device from same supplier.if second one works fine, have no problem. else never going to buy anything from this seller.

I was disappointed that it did not say the Sim card was not included and then I ordered the one shown and when it arrived it was too small.

It meets my needs.

So easy to setup, removed the sim card from the old and put into the new. When it was charged, we were on the internet again. We had been without internet for a few days when the old unit died. The package arrived one day prior to expected date!BTW--We take this with us when we travel. Sometimes while traveling in the rural countryside, we don't get a good signal to get to Google maps. This has been a real life saver.

I'm pretty sure the device uses internet even when you don't have anything hooked up to it.

Somewhat slow booting up, and display is more minimalist than I'd have preferred. It charges fairly quickly, though, and it's reasonably compact. It's also cheap -- a big plus for me, since I lose one nearly every time I travel. I bought two Jetpaks this time for a total of $21. At that price they are semi-disposable. I've used all of the wireless modems Verizon has offered over the years, and this one is less buggy than most of their other models.
