Kojic Acid is a key ingredient in numerous lightening creams, soaps, and serums. Kojic acid lightens skin by inhibiting melanin production. Melanin is the pigment that gives color to your skin, eyes, and hair. Overproduction of melanin of the skin causes dark spots and a blotchy skin tone. The body produces melanin with the help of an amino acid called tyrosine. Kojic acid inhibits the function of tyrosine, which, in turn, inhibits melanin production. Bos Essentials Kojic Acid Powder is the purest grade kojic acid powder on the market. It can be added the lotion, serum, or soap of your choice to create a potent, skin-lightening solution. Basic Instructions: Add 1-2 tsp kojic acid powder (for a 1-2% solution) into 8 oz of the lotion of your choice. To prevent grittiness and facilitate absorption, lotion can be heated to approximately 100-110 degrees Fahrenheit prior to mixing. DOES NOT DISSOLVE - NOT KOJIC ACID
Does not dissolve no matter what! Tried mixing in face cream as suggested and doesn’t blend at all. Tried other methods as well and it’s like hard plastic that won’t dissolve. Took this to my local pharmacy to compound and test and they could not validate that it’s true Kojic acid and they couldn’t get it to compound into a cream for me. WASTE OF MONEY!!

I just received this a few days ago and have used it to mix into my vitamin c face cream to add as an extra lightener. It was easy to mix in...seemed to dissolve into the lotion with no problems! Good size for making many different lotions or whatever else I want to add this to. No scent, non irritating so I’m very pleased with it!

Seems to work, wish it was bigger.
I haven’t been using this product for very long but it seems to be decent/working so far. I haven’t had any issues or irritation. It mixes well with lotion. I added a picture for size comparison because it is quite small. Hopefully it will be a great addition for my skin journeys.

This is a very high quality kojic acid
This product is great quality and works really well. You need to be dedicated to it though as it doesn't work overnight like a bleaching cream. I had a lot of melasma around my lips and below my eyes and this has cleared it right up.

Worth every penny
I mixed it with my Hydroquinone 2% cream and use it as a spot treatment for sunspots. Really boosts the Hydroquinone!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT, it literally works in HOURS okay. I mixed this product with other exfoliants and magic happens ! Seriously ! I left it on my skin for couple hours , even sleeping with it on before washing it off. Even though it comes in a very tiny bottle it’s worth the money!!!! Every single penny . The other exfoliants I use are APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, MILK, POTATOES(grated), LEMON JUICE, AND BAKING SODA. Mix all these Ingredients and watch your skin exfoliate in no time!
