If you order it from ElectronicsJ Inc, it comes already activated and pre-preprogrammed, all you need to do is just install it. Let me know if you have more questions.

Q: If there’s an emergency where I need to locate my trailer immediately, how would you go about doing that?

This device reports every 24 hours, if it were to get stolen, we can re-program the device to report more frequently after it checks in. If you need it to report even more frequently, we can arrange after you place your order. Same cost. Send us a message after placing your order to discuss reporting intervals carefully as the battery life needs to be preserved

Q: I have 3 trucks and 2 trailers id like to use this with pickups and travel trailers not 18 wheelers would the app work woth this many units?

We use them on all of our Trailers, Pumps, Air Compressors, etc through Trakopolis. They work really well in the Northern Alberta Winter Climate

Q: Could you stick it on top of a camper trailer and would it work ok?

That's where I have mine but on an enclosed car trailer.

located item quickly on startup. highly recommend!!

I Located unit inside trailer facing the vent. Had to build a bracket for it. Unit located easily the first time during set up. Will definately update this review if it fails to locate once every 25 hours. I Waited 6 months before installing & activating unit. I Downloaded app that is associated with unit...calamp. It has a geofence option (with email/text notification) on the website but I CAN'T apply it to this unit. ☹ I Can "enable/disable starter" on app & website.... I assume that is a "real time" tracking function but it doesn't work (communicate with unit) while the unit is in sleep mode. Unit comes with a phone number & email address to activate real time tracking if device/trailer is stolen. I don't know if its a 24-hour number...Small magnet needs to be removed to activate this unit (No problem). Magnet rusts if left on unit (to keep it turned off).Awesome customer service. Calls are answered & routed quickly. Problems are solved immediately.

Only written instructions they were not clear it was more gibberish and not understandable it made no sense I would not recommend buying this product until they straightened out these issues I'm going to have to experiment on how to use it until this is worked out do not buy this product

Non functional

Instructions are in Chinese. The English portion has a severe syntaxis issue. Not even one sentence makes sense. I was able to ID the word LED and on/off switch but non is available. Placed the SIM card but nothing happened. Look someplace else. This item is non functional.

Works sometimes

Works good. When it works. Signed up for daily alerts, I don’t receive alerts daily. Some days I do some days I don’t. Called customer service and said it was due to the two minute window the device activates daily and if it is able to read location. But it’s wierd because my trailer is at a storage location and not moved but somedays I get notifications and most days I don’t, trailer doesn’t move an inch.

I instructions. Not Good!

1) the instructions are difficult to understand. Most of it doesn’t even make sense. 2) the magnet doesn’t work. 3) I thought this didn’t need a phone plan. But apparently the GPS tracker will not power up without a SIM card. And all this before I could even get it started working. Is there an app I need to download? Well I wouldn’t know because the instructions doesn’t say so. Confused!

Exactly what we needed - and more! The customer service of asking what we needed was EXCELLENT

Decided online to purchase this unit and the company called us and made sure that how were mounting and what we were intending to get out of using this unit matched. We actually ended up purchasing a slightly different one as a result and were so glad we did. Great value for the peace of mind to track our boat.Can't say anything about battery life yet since it's only been a few months but will update if there's any issues in the future.
