Love these! Great entertainment!
We have had several Jackite's over the years. We love watching them and so do passerby's. They last us about two Canadian Summers before we need to replace them. The high winds finally take a toll on the tyvek material and on the pole as well.We get lots of enjoyment out of just watching the kites from the deck.We have people drop in just to see what it is.We do have Canadian Geese, gophers and deer and other animals. I cannot say for sure if it deters them or not.Well worth it to us just for the entertainment value.

This kite does it's job!
This is the second Jackite American Bald Eagle Kite that we have purchased. We use the first one for keeping birds away from the grapes in our home vineyard. It lasted well, but now is patched up! This second one we hang across our swimming pool to scare off well-intentiond ducks from using our pool as their breeding ground. We lost this season's use of our pool for this reason. So far, the kite seems to be working.

Great Kite!
This is the third (and largest) Jackite I’ve owned. It’s the best on the market. No other comes close.

Great Eagle Kite
This is a beautiful Eagle. We fly him from the telescoping pole on our dock at Eagle Lake and it is so realistic. It is strong and very detailed. We get many compliments except from our sons dog who barks at it because it looks so realistic.

Do not buy this cheaply made kite
What a ripoff, bent and folded, nothing like expected product. It is just paper and very cheaply made for price point. Expected much better.

Well Worth It!!!
I cannot believe how realistic these look in real life! They're made of Tyvek, not cheap nylon or paper. We use ours on a telescoping pole on the farm to ward off invasive, toxic Starlings. They work like a charm! And they're beautiful conversation pieces, too!

Great kite! Very durable and realistic!
I bought my first Jackite kite back in 2002. It was the Mallard and I loved it. The colors were so vibrant, and I actually ended up with a few ducks landing in my yard thanks to it. One day in 2006, a hawk decided it wanted my Mallard. Four years of flying everyday in my yard, the kite was still able to fool a hawk. I ended up replacing the Mallard with one of Jackite's eagles. I've had the kite for a little over 9 years now, with over 5 years of flight time. It's an amazing kite, and it helps to keep unwanted birds out of my yard. Now that I live in Texas, that's a blessing. Please note, the negative review says the kite is made out of paper. That's only about 75% false. It's made out of Tyvek. Tyvek is an ultra-strong material made by DuPont and used for many purposes, including houses. Durable and lightweight, it makes for a great material for kites. Trust me, I've put 2 kites through some rigorous conditions and they held up.Now that I can get this kite on Amazon, it might be time to retire my current eagle and add a new one.
