This is a very pure oil, of the type that's used in jet engines. The zoom spout feature is handy and very nice, also.

I use this for my fan bearings on my air filter. It was pretty noisy from cleaning it with solvents to get rid of the dust everywhere inside of it. Very noticeable actually. I think the solvents got rid of the oil that was already on it so putting it back on the rod that connects and rotates the fan worked like a charm. Super quiet and all you hear is the air like normal.

I bought this oil in the hopes of saving a motor in a squirrel cage that was failing. (full disclosure I am pretty trying to save it made it fail faster). This is our first winter in our new home and the heat was barely blowing. I checked the duct dampers, the filter media, and then I got to the motor . . . it appeared to be original, approximately 23 years old, with a label that indicated a lifespan of 20,000 hours (the average winter here sees roughly 1,00 hours according to statistics). The motor was installed with the oil ports facing the floor and was impossible to remove to oil with its permanent wiring.Once I removed the permanent wiring (and replaced it with a wire nut) I was able to rotate the motor in its mounts so that the oil ports were facing up and oil the motor. the rear port was easy to oil, but the front port must be oiled through the squirrel cage. The zoom spout was quite helpful in getting to the front port, but I wish that it held a shape better when bent to make oiling even easier.I was happy with the result of oiling, I turned the system back on and the fan blew at full power and the house came to temperature quickly. Unfortunately allowing such a long lived and neglected motor to come to full speed simply destroyed what was left of the bearing after a couple hours and ultimately I had to replace the motor. But, I used this again to make sure the new motor was well oiled before installing it and do not fault the product for the failure.
