Men's Air Short Sleeve Button Down Poly Rayon Stripe Shirt

I live in Southern California. For about two years, I've been searching for a short-sleeve shirt with these features: camp shirt style (level hem so it can be worn outside trousers); no-iron (wash and wear with few wrinkles); very soft (the way woven silk is); one pocket (to hold sunglasses); enough width in the shoulders that it doesn't feel cramped; solid color--no designs (so it mixes easily with lots of other clothes); reasonable price (under $30); Amazon prime (fast shipping, easy return if necessary).Bonus feature: can be worn while doing chores and get dirty, but also look good enough to wear out to dinner.Over two years, I bought several different shirts; many came close, but none of them met every single requirement. Until this shirt. After I wore the first one and washed it, I purchased four more.

Amazingly soft, No wrinkle material. I'm a stocky 200 lb, 5'8" man and an X-Large fits great; and not too long. Best Van Heusen shirt I ever bought!I just wish there were more (lighter) colors available.

Finally, a causal button up, short sleeve shirt that I can wear untucked and it doesn't look like a dress. Great thick material. It fits close to my hips, but not tight. Very comfortable and nice looking. I'm 6'1" , 235, and the XL fits perfectly. Not tight, but not too loose. Bought the Nickle Gray and Zucchini Green. Gray is very nice looking. Green is very dark, but in sunlight, looks great.

My husband has worn Van Heusen shirts forever and these two recently purchased were the most disappointing ever! First of all, they do not fit him like the same sized Van Heusen shirts he has purchased in the past. They are the same style as what he has been wearing, but they seem to run a little small. The quality of the sewing is mediocre at best. Threads everywhere and facings not stitched down. One of the two we purchased had a hole in it before he even wore it. Rather than go through the hassle of returning it, I repaired it as best I could. It’s in a place that doesn’t show too much, so he’s ok with it. They do not come out of the dryer unwrinkled, so they do need to be ironed. We tried different dryer settings and also drip drying, but they both needed ironing. When my husband came home after work having worn one of the shirts, he looked like a wrinkled mess! We will not purchase Van Heusen shirts online again any time soon!

I got these because I was looking for casual shirts that looked nice and yet are comfortable in the summer heat if the deep Southeast. These fit the bill nicely. They can work tucked or untucked and look good either way.The material is a pretty good balance between quality and comfortability. It’s airy and wicks moisture pretty well, but it’s not too light that it looks or feels cheap. It looks nice, like a good cotton shirt, not like cheap polyester.The material comes out wrinkle-free if you hang it up out of the dryer. It will wrinkle around the bottom if you tuck it in, but otherwise it’s pretty good. Much more wrinkle resistant than cotton. You probably won’t need to iron it.I don’t really prefer the pattern of the material and I wish there were more solid options available, but it’s not too bad.In terms of fit, it’s on the looser side. It’s not super billowy, but it is loose. I consider myself to be a medium-build, somewhat muscular but also have a bit of tummy, and I wish it came in a bit more at the waist.Overall, very recommended, especially at this price point. Much more comfortable and easier to take care of than typical cotton shirts. Looks nice.

I don’t do shirts you have to tuck in unless I have to so these are the shirts for me. I like to look a little nicer at work then wearing golf shirts. I wear dockers cargoes to go with. They’re nicer than regular cargoes since the pockets are internal. Anyway back to the shirts themselves. I had 2 I bought at a retail store a couple of years ago so figured I’d get a few more. I was a little disappointed they were not as thick but figured it’s just the times we live in. Quality seems to drop on everything these days. Actually the black shirt is a little heavier than the blue and red 1 I bought so it varies. Probably why the black shirt cost more. Also I had to go 1 size bigger than the 2 I bought in the store years ago. They were xl and these are xxl and fit the same. I’m 5’8” @ 210 lbs and they’re not too long either. Just take out of washer right away to avoid the wrinkles. I hang dry mine and they dry fairly quick.

This shirt is "okay" but for the price plus the "brand" I was expecting much more. So many threads needed to be cut back as they stood out (many were around the collar-buttons-sleeves), it wasn't too long ago that this was done at the factory. There were many little plastic ties keeping various sections of the shirt "tied" down so you need to be careful removing them. The fit of the shirt is almost too small for the size but not as bad as some other brands.The quality of the shirt reminds me of the cheap brands one can get from the big "W" and yet those shirts are MUCH cheaper. I would suggest anyone thinking about getting these should try to buy in person but if you are in a pinch and need a shirt fast this may work. Just keep in mind it isn't very good quality and a bit more pricey for that lower quality.

Shirt came with stitching flawes on both sleeves.

I've purchased Van Heusen shirts before from the Global store and as before the shirts really good and fit well. I would Van Heusen shirts again. and would recommend them

Another listing showing a variation of these shirts incorrectly describes them in the bullet points as cotton/polyester when they are actually 75% rayon and 25% cotton, which makes a fantastic combination. In this listing they are correctly described as 66% rayon and 34% polyester. The shirts are as beautiful as I was hoping they would be, and I was counting on the rayon content for that. Rayon is a great material, derived from cellulose, with a silky quality in the drape and the feel. They ironed up beautifully, and that's as much due to the excellent cut as to the rayon/poly blend.I bought one of them in the slim fit just because it was $10 cheaper than the regular cut and it fits snugly but comfortably and I could easily wear all of them in that cut but the other two in regular will be fine too. I'm 5'11" and about 85kg with the covid bonus, so anyone else of these dimensions should be fine with the slim version.They're cut square at the hem so they can be worn untucked, a nice retro touch. I have 3 of them, two with a criss-cross texture similar to linen and the one from this listing comes with stripes of varying width that show in close-up when the light moves but otherwise looks like a plain colour. The colours are unusual and subtle, and the material reflects them in the luminous manner of silk - again, due to the rayon content.If I could find more colours that appealed to me I'd buy more. They'll be great to wear under summer sports coats made of linen, as they'll be cool & smooth on the skin but maintain their press better than silk or linen, as well as being a more substantial weave than either of those fabrics, which tend to be flimsy. I think I'll take a second fly-through of their listings and if I find a yellow or copper...

Maravillosamente bien confeccionada, tela de alta calidad, lo único que tendría que mencionar es que las tallas vienen algo amplias, yo soy un hombre de complexión media y la talla chica me quedo espectacular

Shirt is nice but as larges goes is on the smaller side across back
