All you ever need to know about owls, well to start with.
Lovely book that tells and reveals all about owls. A series of short, carefully drawn insights into the lives of these beautiful creatures who double as one of nature's perfect killing machines. Silent, nightly drones swooping the fields and woodlands searching for food for themselves and their broods. Heather, in the #owlmummy chapter, paints an engaging picture of care in the community that really gives a hoot.

How strange is that?
Ihad just been thinking that I had not heard an owl for such a long time, so I bought the owl book because I did not know enough about this night hunter, known for its capabilities to hunt just where it needed to to get prey. But three nights after buying the book which was one real eye opener to say the least I heard something on my roof. I put my CCTV on and low and behold I heard for a second time one beautiful Tawney owl sitting on my rooftop. How strange is That. It has made my year it truly has.

Great little book on Great Britain's and European owls.
Wanted this book for a 8 year old who is crazy for owls. The information and pictures are nice, but all weights and measurements age given in metrics. I wanted her to have a nice reference book on American owls.
