I like that there’s no fragrance. I prefer not to smell like a lilac, for instance. It lathers well and get a good, smooth, close shave with it. The loss of one star is probably personal - after shaving the residue doesn’t wash off well. It feel like I’m left with a thin layer of soap. It’s gone after toweling so hardly a deal, much less a big deal. But still …

Of all the Captain's Choice soaps, this is my favorite scent. The soap definitely lathers up better than the cream. Only wish the scent were a little stronger. Kind of weak and doesn't last throughout the day.

Scent is very mild and does not last after the shave. However, the scent is very nice and I really like it. It’s not overpowering for my very sensitive wife.Easy to lather and lasts FOERVER.

Easily creates a thick lather with a shaving brush. The aroma is light and pleasant and shouldn't clash with your aftershave or cologne.
