LensAlign Fusion Bundle, Includes MkII (Gen2) and FocusTune V3.0 License Key

Apologies, I bought elsewhere, as I had "points" to spend. The lensalign target is a good tool. A bit flimsy, so you'll not want to assemble/disassemble many times, so find a place you can store it set up. About 6" high 10" wide, and 12" deep should do it. A graphic instruction sheet aids in the assembly.In use, you'll need to watch a couple videos to understand the alignment of the device and your camera. That's a little tedious but not impossible--which is more than I can say for the software (V4 is current, a free upgrade). There is no user manual either online or in the box--just a few FAQ's and a low-activity user forum plus a few videos. With many settings, selections and particular requirements, frankly the software is not worth the trouble to figure out. You are better off to just shoot say three jpegs each at a few settings like -5, 0, and +5 and look on your computer screen for the sharpest. The slanted ruler is a big help at showing which way the focus is off, in case more than +/- 5 is necessary. The software wants 45 images and is very picky, apparently.So if considering this device, I suggest getting the version without the cryptic software (that can only be installed twice and requires online activation!) and save $40! Without the software, I would rate this 3 stars. 4 in function but pricey enough to not be a good value, so 3.
