Sigma Pure 1 ATS Wireless Bike Computer

I spent way too much time trying to figure out why I couldn't get the computer to give me a reading; the sensor battery was dead. I have the same version wired and it works great. Wireless computers are finicky and I've been through many of them. Wired ones last sooooooo much longer, but I was hoping the technology has gotten better. So, if you can't get it to work, swap out the battery and try again. If this one has a short life, I'm back to wired.

It has been a good computer, but I have only had it on a few rides. It is easy to read, even with polarized sunglasses. I like the way it looks. It is pretty accurate. Me and my wife have the same computers and we might be off a quarter + mile at the end of a ride. Not too bad for the price. I have not had it over 40 yet, but I guess I do not care if it is off a mile or two on the speed.The only thing that was bad, is that it came with two bad batteries, which was a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world. For the price, I think it is a great product, but at the end of the day, I think all budget bike computers are roughly the same. I just like the look of this one.

It gives me the three things I want to know: speed, time, and mileage. I like the fact that if I stop it doesn't keep timing the ride. Once I start up it keeps going. I ride in the morning and the evening, and it keeps the morning info unless I reset it.

I love it. I haven't used it yet however because I mostly want to use it for the indoor trainer that I have. The only problem is that on my indoor Kinetic trainer the front wheel is motionless. It is the rear wheel that is spinning and providing the readings. I am needing to get a spare mount and spoke magnet so that I can try to mount the bile computer to my crossbar and read the rear wheel. It would then be a fabulous tool for me. Majorly disappointed that it does not have a Data Center. Majorly disappointed that I can not get a spare kit of a mount and spoke magnet and possibly sensor on Amazon for an ATS. I did see the STS kit

I tried cheap computers that were GPS and altitude. They were not accurate and the documentation was impossible to figure out. I di not want to try a $300 model. So went back to basics and this was great to know distnace traveled and speed. Very bright readable large display. Easy to install. Only two drawbacks. Only shows trip and total distance and time in addition to speed. No max or minimum trip speed. While this documentation was better than what I mentioned above it was still not great. They squeezed 9 languages onto one sheet of paper. It was a big sheet, but still.

It serves as a minimalist's bike computer. It doesn't have many capabilities beyond large letters, present speed, distance and time on the road. I was used to much more with my last unit, but it was unable to live through a parking lot crash. The same mounting bracket for another Sigma allowed it to be shaken loose and it was never found. Stay safe, don't crash and add your miles with a pencil for totals. This will probably last a long time?

I found it too complicated to set up. Sent it back.

While the set-up instructions seem to be unnecessarily complex, the product is great. Once the bicycle information is input and the sensor and speedometer are mounted on the bicycle, the operation is very easy. No superfluous data, just the basics needed to enjoy a nice bicycle ride. There are only two screens: The first screen gives current trip MPH, travel distance, and travel time. The second screen gives the total travel distance, and total travel time since the screen was last reset. I have verified the accuracy by riding my bicycle on a pre-measured course. When the same ride was repeated, the results were very consistent. The display is large and easy to read.

Wenn er dann montiert ist liefert er super Ergebnisse und macht was er soll. Einzig, es hätten Ersatz-O-Ringe dabei sein dürfen, oder für die Räder, bei denen die mitgelieferten zu klein sind, größere. Bei mir hat hat es zum Glück gepasst. Wenn dem nicht so gewesen wäre hätte ich mich geärgert. Im Betrieb funktioniert der Tacho einwandfrei. Hatte jahrelang auch einen Sigma. Der geht immer noch am alten Rad. Kaufempfehlung, Punktabzug wegen knusprigen Montagezubehör.

Inga konstigheter, förutom att jag skulle nog säga att den är vit, det är bara skärmen som var svart själva huset är vit likt på bilden.
