KIMBOCoffee ESE Espresso Pods (Espresso Napoletano, 100 Pods)

These Kimbo pods are one of the top ESE pods I have ever tried in my Francis Francis X1 with ESE pod portafilter.The coffee grinds are packed fairly densely and they feel like they weigh slightly heavier than other branded pods, notably compared to Lavazza and Lucaffe brands these are night and day better. The throughput is medium-slow and that is evidence of the density of the coffee grinds in each pod. Cheaper pods are not as dense and the water flows through them quickly, these not so much.Great flavor profile if you are looking for something on the dark and intense side - probably about a 8/10 for roast intensity.These pods create a very dark and intense espresso for a very decent per-pod price, definitely recommend!

We've been ordering Kimbo Coffee on line for many years as we can't find it in any local store. We have an expresso every morning and it is the best way to get a day started.

Didn't work as well as I had hoped in my new Gaggia machine. The pods seem a bit overfilled. Usually a good thing but not in this portafilter. Whole Latte Love sent me a few potential solutions. Better, and usable

Coffee did taste fresh

Excellent espresso, strong and flavorful. I've tried three other types so far, and this my favorite pod so far.

The taste of this product is just fine, the problem is that it is so hard to pump water through the pods that my Ascaso literally sounds like the pump is going to die as it heaves while the pressure goes up into the red zone. Usually the pods packed in Italy do not cause this issue. For some reason, I have tried 4 pods and all did this. I will be returning this.

We discovered the Frog coffee machine and Kimo coffee on holiday in Naples and just had to buy them! Deep and flavoursome proper coffee. Were surprised that coffee in a 'teabag' could be better than ground beans directly but somehow they do it! My partner is a coffee enthusiast and has tried and tasted all sorts and he raves about these!

La scatola di cartone robusto contiene 100 cialde ESE (da 44 mm) da 7 gr. ciascuna del caffè KIMBO espresso napoletano. Le cialde sono sciolte, nel senso che sono prive dei loro astucci da 18 in cartone, ma sono monodose e sigillate ermeticamente in atmosfera protettiva. Secondo la mia personale opinione, sono identiche come aroma, gusto, cremositá e corpositá a quelle che si acquistano al supermercato nell’astuccio da 18, cambia solo la foto sull’involucro protettivo. Il prezzo è decisamente piú conveniente. La descrizione sul retro di ogni singola bustina è assolutamente identica a quelle del supermercato e come contenuto riporta il medesimo : “miscela di caffè torrefatto e macinato”. I use with my duali 3 in 1. Best coffee hands down. Pods packed perfectly for optimal flow, crema and taste. Amazing.
