This safety switch is a huge improvement over the plastic piece of junk Mossberg installs on their shotguns. It's more durable and much easier to hit with your thumb than the low-profile Mossberg version. Highly recommended and very easy to install.

I have ordered NDZ products in the past they are of high quality I have never had any issues with a ease of installation they make things very simple to put in most items are very simple to put in but if there's any question about it it's pretty much step by step I use this to replace the safety on one of my firearms in our shop it was easier to grip onto with your finger then the stock one was making it much easier to use in the field as long as NDZ stays in business I will always purchase products from them

Easy to install

Easy to install (just don't lose the retaining BB!) and it makes switching the safety on/off such an easier and more pleasant experience! I'd highly reccomend spending the 16$ for this upgrade!

This could be more durable but the installation was a snap, great instructions, and can't beat the price.

Easy installation, order the full kit with the small bb and plate. Much easier to have a spare in case the bb rolls away never to be located again. Also, take care to not lose the small spring under the BB. Easy instructions included and plenty of installation videos online. MAKE SURE YOU MOVE THE ACTION TO THE REAR 1ST BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE STOCK SAFETY OR YOU'LL BE DOING A FULL DISASSEMBLY. It's a 100% better safety and so much better to manipulate. Already had one on my "tactical" shotgun, just added another to my Mossberg 500 that I'm planning on using this duck season. The NDZ enhanced safety and a Limbsaver recoil pad are the two best things you can add to a Mossey 500. Will absolutely buy another if I get another Mossberg Shotgun.

The replacement safety for my Mossberg 590 shotgun was very easy to install. It was of good quality and I expect it to last the life of the firearm. The white safety looks good with the white outined tridium front sight on the gun. I will not hesitate to order further items if needed.

The instructions on the Amazon site are good but insufficient if you do not know your weapon very well. If you have access to “You Tube” videos, there is one entitled, “How to remove or replace a Mossberg 500 or 590 safety switch” and a few other videos on how to install this switch. Be VERY CAREFUL disassembling the manufacturer installed safety as the parts are small and delicate to work with. Otherwise, this safety switch is a great improvement over the manufactured switch. A perfect replacement for the stock safety switch on the Shockwave. The included instructions were very helpful and the swap over only took a few minutes to complete. The high profile on the switch makes manipulating the safety easy and reliable. I love that it’s reversible design allows for a bit of choice when installing. I highly recommend this product

Great safety especially with cold fingers and wearing gloves!!! Fitted all three of my Mossberg pumps, 590 security, and BOTH our shockwaves (12ga & 20ga) *** Make sure you put the safety on your gun BEFORE you remove the old stock safety to fit the new NDZ safety's on!! The solid Black are best,,, (and the least most inexpensive)! The coloured ones are WAY TO EXPENSIVE!! AND the coloured ones are very distracting to the eye when sighting / targeting an object!

Looks much better than stock safety but on sale mine cost $41.44 taxes in and that was on sale ! I couldnt see the reason to need this part that i think is too expensive not to mention using locktite is needed and hope you dont lose the little ball bearing or spring inside . I sent it back for refund and will live with the stock switch cause it works just fine .
