Expensive but works well
I use this adapter with an X-T2 and I really like the way it works. I've tried it with the following lenses under typical indoor lighting conditions:17-40 f4 L - Sometimes gives false focus confirmation, but it is so far off that it's easy to tell. Just push the shutter button a second time and it focus quickly.18-135 STM - Surprising! Really sharp and focuses just as quickly as it does on my 7D Mk II.24-70 f2.8 L Mk I - Fast focus70-200 f2.8 Mk II - Fast focus, works greatTamron 150-600 G2 - No problems, focus seems fast and focus tracking works. Needs more testing with birds in flight.50mm f1.4 - Probably the slowest focus but still works well enough to use for portraits and candids85mm f1.8 - Focuses fast in good light.100 f2.8 Macro (non L) - Surprisingly fast focus! Very usable!Face detection works very well. Focus tracking seems to work OK but I really need to try it with birds in flight to give it a good test. EXIF data is accurate. The aperture ring is pretty close to the camera body. If you attach a lens like the 70-200 that you really need to hold/support around it's midpoint it's a little inconvenient to find and adjust the aperture ring. This certainly isn't a deal breaker.

Perhaps the best adapter on the market that allows you to use Canon EF lenses on a Fuji camera
While on the expensive side this adapter does and amazing job with supported Canon EF mount lenses on the Fuji X Mount system. I have used it with my X-T3 and X-H1 and the performance has been nearly flawless. It supports fully auto focus and EXIF data via its electronic contacts. This can also be updated via firmware via a USB port on the unit. If you have some Canon EF lenses and don't want to replace them with Fuji lenses this just may be the adapter for you.

The best (and only) for Fuji
Even in good light this adapter may focus hunt, especially with Sigma and EF-S lenses. With my Canon L lenses this adapter does much better. If you want a "smart" (electronic) adapter then this is one of your only choices for the Fuji system. I find the price pretty steep though. For example, on the Sony system you can get the Sigma MC-11 for $100+ cheaper and it works better. This is no Sigma or Metabones adapter but overall it's good. TBH my favorite pairing with this Fringer is the Canon 24-105L. Wow it's gorgeous. It has truly brought some new life into that lens. I was getting ready to sell it and thought to myself "let me try it with the Fringer". I'm so happy I did. This lens performs really well with the adapter. Lastly, like most modern companies now, they are offering frequent firmware upgrades. I really respect their decision to do this. It helps the product to continually get better. I'd highly recommend this adapter for you Canon lenses on your Fuji system.--UPDATE 12/15/18---I'm happy to say there is now some competition in the market. I just got my VIltrox EF-XF1 in the mail today. It's half the price of this and does a much better job. It also has a metal mount at the bottom of the adapter so you can attach to a tripod and distribute the weight if needed. This review isn't so much about the Viltrox, which does do a better job than the Fringer, however, I wanted to make you aware that new, better, and cheaper products are now available. Happy shopping!

Accurate fast AF with majority of lenses supported (not tamron?)
(Disclaimer: they consistently roll out firmware updates to add more lens support, A current list of supported lenses are on this page and online on their website)Currently THE BEST and really the only smart adapter out there if you want to still retain accurate AF with your canon lenses after a switch. I just went from Canon/Sony to Fuji and I’ve been able to shoot photo reliably with my 70-200 2.8 IS L ii at weddings and other photoshoots. As for my video work, it hunts a little and if LOCKED on and with good light, the focus holds and tracks, but I’d still prefer native glass for professional work where my AF needs to be completely reliable and I only have 1-2 tries for a shot.Hope this helps since there weren’t many reviews for this adapter on amazon (I’d look online, people rave about it)If this review clarified anything for you please rate it as helpful! Thanks!

Occasionally works
Works with my canon lenses infrequently. When it doesn’t work it jerks around trying to Syncbak up with the lens and the camera until it just stops and says there’s a lens error. Seems to correct itself later but either way it’s annoying considering the price point. For this much the equipment should never fail.

Best Fuji XF to Canon EF lens mount on the market!
Almost flawless focusing with all my current Sigma and Canon EF lenses. Occasionally has trouble focusing on subjects with no contrast to them (such as white doors in dim lighting, but no worse than my Canon 5DmkIII ever had. Also maintains image stabilization and has continued firmware updates as other lenses are tested. An added side benefit seems to be about an increase of about 1/2 stop of light over comparable range Fuji lenses in the same focal length.

I am glad I bought this adapter
Works really well. I am glad I bought this adapter. Autofocus can hunt sometimes in low light but when it locks on it is accurate and sharp. When there is enough light it focus pretty fast. A pretty solid adapter I must say.

Not compatible with Canon 100-300mm f/5.6 and X-Pro2
Also tested with my 35-80mm f/4.5-5.6 and the adapter just won't focus either lens at all :(It spins the motors and sounds like it's trying, but most shots don't even come close to in focus.Stay away if you have either of these lenses and an X-Pro2.
