Terrifically Textured; Lint-Free; Good Roll Size & Value
Now that I've wiped my way through the bamboo-sugarcane toilet paper space, it's easy to differentiate Silk'n Soft's 100% bamboo bath tissue as upper-echelon in a category filled with inconsistent product.Observations: (1) Soft and non-abrasive; no "road rash." (2) This is one of the most substantially textured TPs you'll find, which means it's built to grab and not just smear. (3) Ample, fairly thick rolls -- not mega, but above average. (3) No lint, it's not too easy to tear, and absorbs moisture fairly well. (4) Despite being 3-ply, it flushes fine, and doesn't jam the plumbing in our 1911 bungalow (septic-safe, too). (5) Truly eco-friendly: unbleached, BPA-free, dye-free, with no repurposed inkjet paper found in recycled toilet paper.Only Silk'n Soft and Dr. Mercola Bamboo Bathroom Tissue are 5-star products in this niche category. A good value, too, for 12 rolls at this low price point. - (Was this of use? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful." Cheers!)

A good substitute for Charmin' Strong
I spent hours reading the reviews on the many brands of bamboo TP here. I like the idea of toilet tissue that is made from an extremely renewable resource. I decided on this brand, and I'm so glad I did. It works really well! It has the texture of Charmin Strong, is absorbent, and relatively soft. As other reviewers said, it does not pill. It says it is 3 ply, but it seems more like 2 ply, but still strong. The rolls are smaller than Charmin super size, partly because they roll the paper more tightly! You get more paper and less air, that's it folks! I'm not sure how cost effective it is vs. commercial TP, but helping the environment is worth it to me. Give this one a try!

Soft and thick, good, with challenges
I have been really trying not to use single use paper products. I have no problem with wood furniture and household items, but anything I can do to lessen my daily use is what I can do.I used to be the Quilted Northern Soft and Strong user for a long time. I use a bidet and I need a toilet paper to hold up to that and still be soft.I tried the brands at the coop, no luck: All too thin to be comfortable, and one kept falling apart, ugh. A friend posted on Facebook about these so I thought to give them a try.Wow, they are the best I have found and are almost as puffy as the QN, but that doesn't matter. It is the feel.If you are tired of deforestation, move to bamboo. Bamboos are a group of woody perennial evergreen plants in the true grass family Poaceae. The bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world.Update 10/23/18Still really liking this bamboo tp. Once in a while the layers are not secure, but that is rare. I keep getting this over and over, highly recommended if you want to get away from using paper, use grass.Update 03/23/19Still going strong, it is funny to me that just one or up to three are in each package with the wacky end. Still think this is the best TP from grass.UPdate July 1 2019Sillk'n soft remade it and now it is like quilted northern more, the weird separation doesn't happen anymore, still soft and no trees! (I'll add a picture when I can)Update: November 20 2019See the pictures, old one had separation problems, and the new version .... I must have gotten a bad run as every roll has this strange poke out sides, and they look produced like that. IDK what happened in production but every roll in this new pack has this in the middle of each roll. I still love this TP, and will keep buying it. Just know that there are abnormalities in production but it is good and soft and sturdy. I still recommend.

Looks and feels thin, but feels very good
I hoped to find a TP that would reduce my use of tree-based TP. This 3-ply roll doesn't look or feel that way, but it performs well enough. Very nice, soft feel, and no dust are the best qualities of this TP. If you're looking for an environmentally friendly option, I think this is a solid product. My rating is 3 stars for two reasons. I've made the switch to using a bidet (I highly recommend it!), and the next step was to reduce my TP use, especially products made from trees. I find conventional TP still requires using several sheets to dry myself. Not as many as I used before having a bidet, but TP's flimsy nature didn't work well. This bamboo TP is absorbent, but it falls apart also. I'm not using any less TP. In fact, I use a couple more sheets than I do of the conventional TP. So, I'm saving a few trees, but I'm not benefiting from my experience or wallet. If you don't use a bidet and have the environment a priority for your decision, go for it. I like this TP for that situation. In my case, I'm going to look for a bamboo "towelette" that will make drying myself easier without as much effort or waste.

Good apocalypse paper
Picture it: Vegas, 2020. An apocalypse is raging across the land. For some reason, idiots worldwide are hoarding paper towels and toilet paper thinking it will protect them from the plague. It's June, the great toilet paper scare is drawing to an end, but you still need to buy any toilet paper you can find or risk needing to use a tongue to clean up the messes usually associated with toilet paper. There is none to be found in town, but after three months Amazon is starting to stop with their price gouging and they finally have precious toilet paper! However, it's this really weird bamboo stuff.Normally, you wouldn't even think about wiping your backside with something made of bamboo, even if it claims to be silky soft, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I decided to give it a shot to keep from using actual bamboo on that sensitive part of my body. Not only is it actually soft, it's surprisingly strong! We've gone through the entire package and there wasn't a single finger popping through the paper to give you a little surprise while wiping. I honestly think I would buy this stuff again, but it's a little pricey for what you get (or maybe that was the aforementioned price gouging) so I probably won't buy it again until the next apocalypse.

Great product
This is a great product. I read some reviews saying the paper was hard to detach from the perforated edge....I'm not sure if Silk n' soft facilitated a product upgrade but out of the 4 packs I have bought so far I've had no issues. Also, the TP holder in the middle is not "thick" as I've read in other reviews (not that it at all has a bearing on the review) it is the same as regular TP so I'm not sure again if the company resolved an earlier customer concern. It is environmentally friendly, does not irritate sensitive skin or leave little dust particles. It's soft, sturdy and I feel overall better than other TP brands.I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Surprisingly good!
Pretty good product. It looks awfully thin and flimsy for 3-ply and rips very easily at the perforation marks, but is surprisingly strong and durable, and also soft. Feels nice, and hasn't torn on me yet or left behind lint and particles like other toilet paper does. The fact that it is eco friendly makes it an even bigger surprise that it's so good. I think I have found my new brand!!

Thankful
I have Multi Chemical sensitivity. Basically allergic to every chemical. And apparently a ton of chemicals are used in toilet paper. I also have an intolerance to cotton so bamboo has been my new go to for a number of things. I give this 4 stars. Firstly it fixed the allergy issue (so thankful). It is soft enough and strong. My only complaint is the size of the rolls are tiny. It’s definitely more money than I would normally spend on TP so it gets one demerit for cost. But I am thankful I have found this product, please continue to make this!

I'm impressed
wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it. It's quite durable which is great, if anything a tad bit on the rough side, but not in a way that is bothersome. Very have it doesn't leave residue like some TP does. Most grateful to have an option that is saving trees!

The only bamboo TP I personally like
I was a Kirkland TP user for years (still LOVE it!) until I bought a house in the country and was informed that using Kirkland was a surefire way to clog my septic. So I did some research and found that bamboo TP was more biodegradable, so I ordered 3 readily available brands online and gave them all a try. Silk'n Soft was wonderful and the other two were awful. This stuff is soft, reasonably thick (I prefer thick TP), and strong - until it hits water - let's just say it does break down quickly, which is why I bought it in the first place (you can't have your cake AND eat it lol).
