Olympus America AS-2400 Transcription Kit

This is a wonderful product. I had used a microcassette transcriber for my old tape recorder, and when I switched to digital, it was taking me much longer to transcribe tapes. This is even faster than my microcassette transcriber was. It has cut my workload by about 60%. I love it! And I especially appreciate the feedback I got from others when I was trying to find out which foot pedal would work best for digital recorders. They recommended this one, and they were right.

This is a very reasonably priced transcription kit that does the job very well. I am delighted to have bought it for my busy medical office. A great help.

The CD software was missing so am returning the order for a refund!

It works perfectly! It makes dictation so much more organized and efficient! Would recommend to anyone doing transcribing! Two thumbs up!

I bought this for my wife and she loves it.

The pedal works great. The software is fine. The headphones are horrible. I bought the kit because I needed the pedal and the software is required due to Olympus insisting on clinging to their proprietary file format. I assumed the headphones would at least be decent. They're not. The crappy 2 dollar headphones you get on airplanes sound better. That said, I seriously doubt anyone is buying this kit for the headphones.

This item was delivered, but would not connect/load the software. Numerous calls to Olympus were not helpful or went unanswered. Olympus would only communicate via email... no voice, no chat. Because of the delay, we missed our return window with Amazon. Even though the Amazon return window closed, Amazon was somewhat responsive. No problems with the seller, but I would strongly recommend against purchasing ANY Olympus product given their miserable level of support.
