Solved my problem!
This product solved my problem "How to turn on dock lights from the house?" I decided to mount it immediately adjacent to the light switch in my garage; so the wiring in the garage wall switch box didn't interfere with the wireless signal path to the product. My house is approximately 50 ft from the switch in the garage and the remote works from several locations in the house but not all locations. The wiring leads on the product were a little short; so I had to lengthen them a little.

Works well. Piror setting of on or off was remembered when power was removed and restored
The switch is being used in a conference room where during a slide projection it is desired to turn offa few overhead light fixtures . It was connected down stream from the main room light switch to controljust the fixtures near the slide screen. Turning the main room light switch on and off did not change the lastsetting of the remote control switch - which is what we wanted. (ie not turning off when main switch was turned back) on.)

Easy Install and works everytime
I added this to a new ceiling mount light fixture that had been previously pull chain activated. The switch sensor tucked nicely inside the the mounting base of the new fixture, which was important as this fixture has no metal box in the ceiling (120 year old house). The switch works well from across the room and even in the next room over. The switch sensor was easy to install as all wires were clearly marked. Just be sure to get a fixture that has a deep enough base for the sensor to fit or install the sensor inside the mounting box if you have one.

Great invention!
I wanted to relocate a garage light switch that the builder had put behind the door swing. My first thought (I'm a contractor and comfortable with all electrical) was to turn the switch into a junction box, run flex up and over to another location. I didn't want to have a battery operated switch as that's a maintenance issue. Then I found this. It works great, and I'm most impressed with the battery free technology. I hope it lasts! My only comment would be since the receiver must be mounted outside the light fixture (in this case it was garage shop lights) they should make the wire leads longer and put the leads in an insulated jacket similar to romex. Other than that, five stars!

Good remote lightswitch but subpar connectors
Received 3 remote switches today and went right to the install. Everything went smoothly except for the included wiring connectors. They looked like they should have worked fine, but were very flimsy. Wires kept falling out as I tried to tuck them into the light box. Had to fall back to the trusty old wire nuts. Otherwise the remotes worked very well. One of the reviewers said his worked intermittently, I found a good solid press of the switch would work every time. Good remote switch, bad connectors.

Remote on/off switch that works with no power connection or batteries!
I don’t understand how it works, but this little knob turns my light on and off flawlessly. Just wire in the receiver (not complicated) to your light circuit. Put the push-button anywhere you like (mine is indoors about 75 feet away from some outdoor floodlights) and like magic you can turn the lights on and off. No wires, no nothing. The button is obviously a transmitter (like with a garage door opener) and what you wire into the light circuit is the receiver (again, just like the garage door opener). The part I don’t understand is how the activate button transmits a signal without power. No batteries. But it does it anyway. Totally satisfied although I must admit I was skeptical.

Better than “sliced bread”
What an easy problem solver. Sometimes builders just don’t use a lot of common sense in positioning wall switches. Was ready to start drilling and fishing wires when I saw this item. Removed original switch and put transmitter in that box. Plenty of room. Covered with blank plate. It was out of view anyway, almost behind a door. The only minor quirk involved was trying to use the furnished wire connectors. Tough to get a solid connection. They don’t meet “code” anyway. Used regular “twist” connectors, no problem. A pleasure to install something that works flawlessly right out of the box.

High quality
This switch works perfectly. A high quality device judging by looks and performance. Even comes with 3M double sided attaching pads. My only knock regards the awkward written instructions; you read them and go, 'hunh?', but it is a simple procedure to program the wall switch to the receiver module and it works fine. This is a great way to create a three way switch. You could easily place a living room switch on the front porch as there are no wires or batteries at the switch. The price is kind of unbelievable.
