Q: Too much hot spice. I had to throw out korean beef.... great products but spice deadly?

I agree about the Korean beef being way too spicy hot! Ended up rinsing it several times before it was edible. (Sorry if that sounds gross but I hate to waste healthy food.) Even then, the food had absorbed enough of the sauce that it was still a little too spicy. However, there are many flavors which are not spicy/hot. My favorite is the Falafel & Tahini, if you like the ingredients. Not spicy/hot. I think I've tried all the Power Bowl flavors. One of the egg dishes is also way too hot for me, but most of the other Power Bowls are fine. You can tell which are going to be spicy/hot by looking at the picture on the back of the package -- Amazon shows that very clearly, if you use the magnifier. The upper left ingredient in the picture is always the "sauce." Look for the ones that are not spicy. For example, the "sauce" in the Falafel & Tahini is "sesame tahini." The bowls really are good other than the few that are very spicy, so GOOD LUCK!!
