Great brand of polymer clay, I've tried others but always come back to Fimo. Easy to use. Good quality. Good price.

I really like this product I have never used it before but I found it very easy to work with. I used it in silicone moulds, you just roll a small piece into a ball, place it in the mould and press it out so it fills it, you can trim off any excess and make sure you press it down hard and that the back is reasonably flat if it is something you are going to glue onto an item (I am making my own embellishments for card making and paper crafting). Then place it in the freezer for five to ten minutes so it hardens up enough to let you push it out of the mould without damaging the shape. Be careful when baking it, if you have a gas oven don't put it any higher than 1/4 of a degree!! Keep checking it and bring it out the oven when you feel it is hard enough. You need to leave them a while once finished cooking as they will continue setting for a bit once removed from the heat. What I really like about the stone/granite effect one is if you have little extra bits on the shapes you can snap them off once baked like you can with plaster of paris, unlike the other colours I have tried. The granite one also does not change colour at all once cooked (I say this because the white one changes to a milky/translucent finish). I will be buying more in the future would definitely recommend :)

I bought this clay for my business around Halloween to make ghost earrings! The clay was nice to use and was a successful purchase. The only thing I’d say to people buying this product is to double check the cooking time and temperature because I put it on the temperature I normally do with Fimo clay and it was way to high and the clay cracked. This clay only needs to be on gas mark 1 for at most 30 minutes. But overall a good purchase!

Note: I have gone from a really poor quality clay to this, so this is almost by default superb.This is a really nice clay to work with; it conditions with almost no effort, is a nice consistency, not sticky and barely takes on any fingerprints. It bakes really nice, it is hard and sturdy, but soft enough to be able to lightly scrape away dust, fingerprints and uneven spots with a blade. It glows nicely in the dark after being in normal light, and is really bright if you shine it with a flashlight. I love this and will likely get more Fimo (and this when I run out).

Top quality product

I love using Fimo polymer clay. It doesn’t need a lot of work at all - it is soft and pliable. I particularly love the “mint” colour from the effects range. It is such a beautiful colour! I have bought several packs of clay from Fimo and the quality of their clay seems consistent between different colours and different products (such as Fimo Soft and Fimo Effect). The pack also has a sticky strip on the back which allows you to peel off and use it to reseal the pack once opened.I would 100% recommend Fimo clay - particularly the Soft and Effect range - to anyone who enjoys polymer clay or anyone who is just starting out. I bought a clay kit and a few extra clumps of clay from fimo. The quality of this clay is above the average clay.For example, the kit’s clay that came it came with, was stringy and the colors were not as vibrant, also hard to sculp and work with. The fimo clay was the total opposite, where it was easy to use and when cooked in the oven at the right temperature, more durable and yet more appealing to look at.If your on the fence about what brand of clay to work with, don’t be, because this brand is worth the money, yet not expensive.
