Really pleased, this gave the perfect rustic look for a birthday cake and set it off beautifully. It’s very light weight which I didn’t expect and just be careful with the dark edging as this feels a little delicate. However fine to wipe down after the cake and looks good as new.

We placed our order for a medium sized wooden slice to be the centrepiece of our dining table, based on the images provided in the description it seemed like the perfect product. However, our product arrived without any sensible protection, the wooden mat was simply wrapped in grey plastic bag? Once opened, we saw that (unlike the images in the description) the item is flimsy, untreated and is simply a piece of faux wood glued together with pieces of plywood (as seen in our pictures) is absorbent (untreated) covered in glue (as seen in our pictures) flimsy, bark falls off (as seen in our pictures) and were absolutely shocked that a product could be sold and shipped in that condition as it is such a far departure from the advertised product. Our advice is to avoid this product and seller as the advert categorically and demonstrably does not match the product shipped. One of the most disappointing products we have reviewed on Amazon. Avoid this and purchase a higher quality item elsewhere. An extremely well deserved 1* from us!

Very light and flimsy..I avnt used it yet but I think if it was used for cakes and needed washing rhe bark would come off

Used to stand our son's wedding cake on. Perfect for the rustic teepee setting and display with the cupcakes they decided upon. In my opinion you need more than one to make a more prominent display. We used a 22cm and a 26cm here.
