We got the kit to do yeast counts in our brewery. I used to be an actual Biologist. During the lock down homeschooling era I bought this for my son to do backyard science. It worked like a champ. Maybe even better than a few I had in lab. Combine this with the concave slide, and a decent microscope, and you are set to run all sorts of experiments with your budding scientist.Highly recommend.

the hemocytometer i received appears to be either a second or defective. i sent an email addressing my "concerns" but received no reply. can't recommend this vendor from my experience, your mileage may vary.

Wanted this so that we could do an ummmm….estimated semen count on my boyfriend. 😅 Works great, best value for the price and comes in a great little kit!

So far it is helping well with completing sperm counts on canine semen for freezing and storage.

I use this product for estimating bacterial cell counts in solution and it works very well. Considering its cost and the fact a person could easily spend 5x as much, this is a great product and highly recommended.
