I have to give this product 5 stars for now because it did the job it was bought for. I bought this for a friend of mine to remove a stuck choke tube in a 12 gauge shotgun for a customer of his.There are companies that make choke tube removers that charge upwards of $60.00 for each gauge, and this has 8 pieces you can use for other purposes.If you use this to remove a stuck choke tube , know in advance that the tube will be ruined. This is also true with the other tube removers.Hope this helps.

After purchasing three other products from Home Depot, Harbor Freight, and finding none works, I am very happy to get this set that finally did the job for me. The set has the 15/16" pit that is not commonly available anywhere, which helped me extract a broken brass pipe nipple in my pool pipe system (the 3/4" one from any other vendors did not work). I am relieved that I can close my pool in time this fall because of this set.Highly recommend this product. Very easy to use and extremely effective and powerful for the job. The vendor should add "nipple extractor" and "internal wrench" to the product description (I used nipple extractor and internal wrench for google search, cannot easily find this product).The price is ridiculously cheap for a 8-piece set. Most other vendor charge the same or double the price for only one piece.

On the plus side: these are some excellent extractors. I had to use one within a few days of purchase to remove a stripped phillips-head bolt. I just drilled into it with a small bit, then a larger one, then tapped in the extractor and drilled it back out.My complaints lie with how the seller handled the item.These extractors appear to have been used previously, and several things clued me into this:-the plastic packaging had a large hole in it on arrival, as though it had been opened previously-several of the bits were rolling around loose in the case, but the case is injection molded and designed to hold the extractors snugly. This tells me that someone opened it up, and then just threw in the used extractors when they were doneI may end up ordering another extractor set in the future, but not from this seller.

Since ordering this set, I've been blessed to encounter only bolts & screws that come out without breaking, without their heads rounding off or stripping out, etc. Thus, I can't really speak to the performance of these extractors. They appear to be solidly made, without any unfinished or irregular surfaces. I expect them to work well, although I suppose there's always a question about the tempering of the steel and whether it will hold up in a real world application. The case is well sized for the eight extractors, and should help keep them together -- (as long as I remember to put them back after each use!) -- hopefully making it a simple matter to locate the right sized extractor for each task at hand. Compared to other products I looked at, these were priced quite low. Compared to those I saw in stores, they look at least as likely to work well.I'd like to find a set of larger ones for an equally good price, however. I chose to purchase these while looking for something larger to help with some rusted 1.25" steel pipe threaded into cast fittings. I ended up destroying what was left of the pipe with a pipe wrench, and still had rusty remains of the threads stuck in the fitting. I don't see many affordable products in that size range to do for pipe what these will do for bolts and screws.

OK.. Lets face it. A broken bolt or screw is a pretty bad place to start out. I bought this set along with a more expensive bolt remover design. Neither this set nor the more expensive bolt remover design did the trick. I was able to remove the bolt the old fashion way... by drilling through the entire bolt which takes time, effort and patience. Had i just started out with this remedy in mind, i would have saved money, time and wasted expectations. While the design of these tools may work well enough on paper... they certainly did not work on the metal embedded bolt.

My local hardware store charges more for the largest piece in this set than the cost of the entire set, so getting an entire set for less seemed a bargain; and I believe it was. I am very satisfied with the product and wish to commend the company's customer service: One of the pieces in the set I received was missing, and they promptly replaced it.

The Product is a good product, I liked it very well there were some unexpected values and cons but over all it wasn't half bad. I do like that it is easy to hold... I thing the delivery was quick and the vendor was pleasant I believe I would recommend this to my friends.
