The price is steep but s0 is the quality of this pen. I now have one in silver as well as the gold!Ink flow is superb and so is the nib! I always use the fine point nib and I always need to remember that the fine in a European nib is almost like a medium nib in Japan. However, the ink does not spread out or bleed through with this pen!If you want an excellent pen--buy t!

This is a beautiful pen. I hope I could find extra fine nib in Caran D ache line of fountain pens.

Really solid fountain pen. First time I've purchased Caran D'Ache- very fine flow of ink, doesn't leak, and fine lines - it's a solid nib, even though it's fine. Lovely design, nice barrel and easy to hold (small hands) feels great.Excellent delivery. many thanks...
