Read with Oxford: Stage 4: Biff, Chip and Kipper: The Time Capsule and Other Stories

My son loves this book! It’s filled with different stories that are suited to his ability. There are a few challenging words in there but they are good to develop his vocabulary.

I chose this book as my son is familiar with Biff, chip and kipper. Following on from school, it’s the correct level for him too. So great book for reading while home learning. There’s 4 stories in 1 book. Each story is a lot longer than the ones that usually come home from school.

Bought for my home schooling 5y old. Compared to older B&C books I think ort have changed the levels. It is harder than some Biff n chips I’ve seen at the same ort reading level but great stories! And if it is too tricky - just share the book together!

My five year old is keen to read independently at bedtime, much like his older sibling. This collection of Stage 4 Biff Chip and Kipper stories does the job perfectly. He is more enthusiastic to read these than any other books we've tried. They pose the right level of challenge with some difficult words but are otherwise ok for him to read by himself. The questions after each story to check understanding are great inclusions.

My grandson loves these books and they have been great for homeschooling. I like the tips for parents and the little puzzles. There are questions at the end of every story to check your child’s understanding. My grandson looks forward to his reading now.

These books have been amazing at helping my son learn to read. If you follow the stages they build gradually and are fantastic at keeping them interested. Highly recommend
