Ventilation
It is almost perfect. But my inner pants ( trousers in British English ) is always wet after I work for several hours. I think it is because of its material. It is waterproof and so the heat produced by my legs during work make my pants ( = trousers in British English ) and the wet pants can't be dry by the air as the air is blocked by the waterproof trousers. It may needs to have some certain kind of holes to provide some ventilation .

Don't really work with them not being breathable you still get moisture on the inside also pocket holes let water in so not really fit for purpose

Waterproof
Only pair of over trousers that i have found to be waterproof after fishing in heavy rain for six hours and they fit better than others i have bought with elasticated waiste So many of these trouser seem to fail in vey wet weather and these are better than some i have recently bought at a far more expensive price Saadly tried to get another 2xx for my 44 inch waiste but not in stock.. Very good price for what you get and would recommend .
