this is a great product for Dosa and idly batter, the sound is not bad, it has a good safety measure and stops automatically once the timer runs out.

We bought this item a month ago and working well at its best

This product works very well - but the flow breaker - a small plastic part broke off during use.I wrote to Panasonic to get a replacement - they denied selling the product or knowing anything about it.I wrote to the Distributor - Olympic Industries - they have no clue where to get any parts.Basically - if anything breaks on this product - you will need to throw it out.I used it for less than 9 months before this part broke.I suggest you look at other products of equal quality.

We had the premier wet grinder from last 11 years, it’s been a trusty machine, since the main drum broke down and lack of replacement parts here, ordered this one as replacement. It’s pretty good, like the timer functionality. I had hoped it will take away the manual intervention, but this has a design issue, the dal will stick to the side and you will have to use the included spatula to scrape the drum to get all the dal to be grinder properly. Otherwise the unit is solid, hoping it will give me another decade of service.

The grinder works well without any leaks or issues. It's quiet and fast. The lid is very convenient and prevents spills. The timer works well. I recommend this product.

Overall liked the product, but I think I got a defective piece. The center part with two wheels sits on a square pivot and there are 4 possible orientations that it can sit on the pivot. Mine makes a screeching noise in 3 positions and only one position where it aligns and works without the screeching noise. Attaching pairs of photos where you can see this one correct position in photos 1 and 2 where the plastic doesn't touch the rotating bowl and in photos 3 and 4, you can see the misalignment where one is a little far away and the second touches the rotation bowl.Update:Asked for a replacement and the new one works perfectly, happy with the product

The media could not be loaded. I specifically bought this item to make Mexican mole from scratch. I could not find any other reviews or places that recommended this item for that use so I took a gamble and it really paid off. Large enough to make large family size batch of mole.
