What An Upgrade!!!
The media could not be loaded. 5 STARS because 10 wasn't available!!!I have a first Gen Openwheeler cockpit that I purchased in 2016 for sim racing and was totally happy with it except for one unforgiving problem ... the shifter mount. It had to be the worst design of any in all of sim racing history. It was clumsy, made getting in and out of the cockpit tricky and had no stability whatsoever. No matter what I did to stiffen things up it still had unwanted flexibility. This chassis upgrade solution is the answer. This setup is a complete replacement of the entire sim cockpit unit minus the seat. Basically unbolt your seat and reinstall it on the new cockpit (assembly required) and instant happiness. The steering post has been redesigned to accommodate the optional seat risers and also rids the steering shaft at your ankles which was quite uncomforting at times to say the least. The seat chassis has been redesigned to accept controller mount brackets on both sides of the seat. This allows for the flexibility of a HOTAS mounting bracket kit (optional) for flight sims and other dual controller applications as well as for sim racing shifter hard bolt mounting. With the predrilled holes and included hardware, I was able to hard mount my Thrustmaster TH8A shifter with no problem! Rock solid! Also works for Logitech and Fanatec shifters as well. The pedal mount has also been modified with a reduced angle for better comfort especially when using the optional seat risers and also makes for a better angle of my Thrustmaster T3PA Pro pedal set when mounted inverted for GT and stock car type pedal arrangements. For the list price of 199.99 it's a heck of a bargain, but at the time of my purchase the seller was offering $100.00 US rebate for verifiable first gen Open Wheeler cockpit owners. The rebate was prompt and issued within 24 hours of my purchase including the tax (prorated of course). If you are a first gen cockpit owner, you deserve to owe it to yourself this upgrade, especially with the current rebate offer at the time of this review.

Exceptional Customer Service!!
I had the Gen1 before and decided to upgrade to Gen2. The build quality is top notch. I ran into a small problem with the steering wheel mount not being very firm to where it would rock back and forth with a Fanatec Club Sport Wheel base V2.5 attached. Reached out to the company and sent them a video. Tech support called me to go over the issue and possible solutions. Within a week or so, I had a new wheel base mount that was custom reinforced and no more issues. Now that is great customer service!!

Better thought out, Gen1 chair compatible!
Gen2 Chassis for the Open Wheeler set is great! The upgrades:Peddle board 15° angled lower!Peddle board significantly lighter material!Shift mount moved to better spot!Steering post is better shaped! And, your Gen1 chair bolts up the same way as on Gen1.Not a necessity over the Gen1 Chassis, but if you need to replace or want to upgrade, the Gen2 chassis bolts to the same chair used with the Gen1!Picture shows differences in chassis. I also have the 5 inch chair lifters now. Also well worth the investment for the even more comfortable sitting position then before!

Excellent, So far
I ordered the Gen 3 frame (I have my own seat) and the #2 flight option for my Thrustmaster Warthog joystick/throttle. I received my package several days before the estimated delivery date. While I was doing the initial unboxing, I found several parts missing. I was amazed to get a hold of customer service after hours on a sunday (around 8:30pm). They overnighted the missing pieces on monday and I received them before noon on tuesday. Their customer service is commendable.I was surprised to see that all tools that were needed to assemble the frame and Flight option were included. Three open end wrenches and several Allen wrenches were included and no additional tools are needed. The product so far is solid. I have mounted all of my controls onto the frame. I was a little skeptical at first, because the Warthog flight stick and throttle are quite heavy and the mounting plates only use one bolt to connect them to the L brackets. The Flight stick weight over seven pounds and the throttle weighs almost ten pounds. I can get caught up in my games, so I'm going to keep an eye on these brackets. I think I may have to reinforce them somehow. The seat lift kit is a must!! Whether your are using their seat or your own. The frame where the seat mounts is less that three inches off of the floor, so the seat itself is incredibly low. Especially if your are used to an office chair. I am using the drivers seat from a Toyota Camry (so comfortable) or maybe from a Mercedes E class. So I have to make a custom adapter to mount it to the frame. The Customer Service rep I spoke to, concerning the missing parts, had several suggestions on how to do this custom mounting. It does seem like a universal racing seat would mount very easily. So far, I am very impressed. I will update this review (with pictures) once the build is completed.
