Cat Litter Deodorizer (1 Pack)

Giving 5 stars BUT then I must take them away for different reasons.1. Reason I give it 5 stars is because it came quickly and did absolutely ban almost all odor that the litter wasn’t banning. It works! However....2. One kitty looked really funny at the litter box once I poured in the charcoal. Little did I know that look meant that he would have an issue. The other kitty had no problem with it. She is my housekeeping kitty and loves all cleaning products and isn’t phased by much. He on the other hand.....Within 2 full days, he vomited twice. Once outside the litter box, and the next time in a different area. The next day he pooped outside of the litter box and then outside of the room completely.I read a ton and realized he was either sick for some unknown reason or didn’t like his litter/charcoal combo.I’m in the medical field and I know that activated charcoal will induce vomiting or bowel movements if there’s something in the gut. So, I gave him probiotics, no wet food, fish oil and apple cider vinegar- along with completely changing and washing out the liter box to include new litter with no charcoal.It took him from 6am pooping in the floor before all the change ups and cleaning, until 8pm to finally go into the litter box to poop again.I have to say that this charcoal was the only thing that I did different- so although it does what it’s supposed to, we can’t use it. 😐

This stuff is so much better than sprinkling baking soda. Very effective and no unhealthy chemicals. I was worried that our 2 cats (share 2 large boxes) wouldn’t like it but there was no issue. Odors gone & I don’t have to work as hard to keep it that way.

Using this product made my house finally smell fresh. I have 2 cats that I love and up until now now matter what I did you always smelled that I have cats the minute you walked in. This is the first time people don’t even know I have cats when they walk in. By far the best pet odor eliminator I have ever used! What I love even more than the fresh smell of my house is that it is 100% safe for children. My nieces spend a lot of time in my house and I now never have to worry if they somehow make their way into the kitty litter. I highly recommend this product! Amazing and safe!

I purchased this as a gift for my aunt and uncle, they own a lot of cats! I've always noticed that their laundry room had a strong smell because of the litter box. I sent them down some of this asking them to try it out and let me know how well it worked. After a few days, they said the room smells so different and that it actually worked! Plus since its not harmful to the cats, they don't have to keep them away from the box like when they used to bleach it! I highly recommend it for your own home or a friend if theirs an intense oder coming from your litter box!

Directions say to use 1/2 the bag in the litter. I used 1/3 of the bag and it works fine. While it does cut the litter box odor it DOES TRACK outside the litter box stuck on your cats feet and it DOES STAIN your cats paws gray (I have a white fluffy cat) and if stepped on it will make black marks on your floor, just like stepping on any type of charcoal, and don’t use white bathroom rugs if your litter is kept in the bathroom using this stuff as it will turn them gray due to the charcoal being tracked outside the box by your cat as well as it being inadvertently stuck on your feet and/or socks/slippers and then you walking on your white bathroom rugs. Stupid me!So, beware. It does work BUT it does track AND will stain carpets, rugs, floors, and cat paws.

My experience with this product is that it works very well. It is the best of all available litter deodorizers I have tried. My cats seem to tolerate it well. I have reordered once and will continue to use it.

I put half the bag in our kitty’s litter box mixed it in with her litter and that was it! The next time I had to walk by the box there was NO smell! It does not have a scent so it is not masking anything. This stuff is amazing!!! Buy it, add it to your litter you won’t regret it!

We have two litter genies that we use with the purina breeze litter systems and the litter genies can start smelling incredibly foul very fast when you’re scooping nothing but poop into them. Enter this product! Because of the neutralizing power of the carbon we can go for a month without having to change the litter genie, usually only doing so when it gets full as opposed to just because it smells. As long as we have cats, we will also have this product!

Does what it says, made the cats feet black though

I expected this to work for the price and size of bag.
