Very good, but by far the saltiest powder I have ever tried

30 pack of Citrus and Raspberry flavoured Electrolytes
30 pack of Citrus and Raspberry Electrolytes from Puresport. On this listing you get 15x raspberry salt flavoured and 15x Citrus Salt flavoured sachets. I've been using these daily for a while now and can honestly say that I've found them to be effective though I do have to say that I mix the raspberry flavour with a fruity cordial to make the taste bearable as they do taste extremely salty. The Citrus flavoured sachets taste much better though and are really nice in all honesty. They have zero sugar and are Informed Sport Certified too.The listing contains all of the ingredients, composition and science based information regarding these so I'd encourage you to read this prior to purchasing them to ensure they're right for you. I would have given them 5 stars but the excessively salty taste on the raspberry sachets does put me off them unless mixed with a fruit juice! They are great quality sachets in my opinion though and the branding is very professional.

Good but not for me
I just wasn’t keen on the saltiness. It was my first time trying electrolyte drinks and I don’t think I’ll be making it a regular thing. My partner really enjoys them however and thinks they are very good

Nice
Really impressed with these electrolytes. The discovery pack is a great way to try both flavours, raspberry and citrus salt, and they both taste clean and refreshing without being too sweet. I like that they’re sugar free and backed by science, so you feel like you’re getting proper hydration support without any unnecessary additives.I’ve been using them after workouts and on hot days, and I can definitely feel the difference, less fatigue, better recovery, and I stay hydrated for longer. They also dissolve easily in water with no clumps, which is a big plus. The individual sachets are super convenient for the gym bag or when travelling. Overall, this is a high-quality electrolyte mix that really helps with hydration and muscle function. I’ll definitely be buying more.

A premium product with high electrolyte content
These electrolyte sachets immediately strike you as a premium product, if not because of the high-end packaging then due to the eye-watering price.Additional electrolytes are unnecessary for short periods of exercise, and most people can get what they need from food, but if you are exercising intensely all day and sweating profusely, they can make the difference between dehydration, headaches and cramping, and being able to continue effectively.I'm a regular user of electrolyte supplements for long days of sport, particularly in warm conditions. I usually use the SiS tablets that you dissolve in your water. I find that they work pretty well and I use multiple tablets throughout the day but in extreme conditions I sometimes need additional magnesium to avoid cramping. These Puresport sachets are a different proposition. They have much higher quantities of sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium. This is immediately obvious when you drink them - they taste salty. You aren't going to need to consume several of these; you get pretty much what you need in one dose. The instructions recommend you consume no more than two sachets in a day. This goes someway to mitigating the expense as a box of these will last longer than competing products.Aside from the saltiness, the flavours are actually pretty pleasant. The citrus flavour has a strong lime taste and the raspberry is recognisably raspberry-like.As a bonus they are InformSport tested, which is reassurance for anybody competing in elite sports where drug-testing is possible. If you don't know whether you need these then you probably don't and you won't get your money's worth, but if you are a serious endurance athlete then they might be worth the cost.

Solid electrolyte mix, but the flavourings poorly mask the saltiness, very expensive per serving
This electrolyte mix arrives packed into two nicely branded cardboard boxes, each with 15 individual servings. The sachets themselves are very small and they’ve got an easy tear precut section at the top so getting into them is a breeze. The flavourings on both varieties are quite tasty but they don’t really mask the saltiness, so if you’re looking for something that completely hides the chalky/salty flavour, this isn’t going to be the best option. It’s pretty clear that Puresport are quite proud of the fact that they’ve got 1000mg of sodium in each serving, but this means the flavourings have an uphill battle. The saltiness is pretty typical for more serious premixed electrolytes, so it’s not unexpected.I’ve taken to putting the sachets into more water than recommended, in an effort to make them more tolerable for casual hydration. They’re drinkable at the recommended 500ml per sachet dilution but it’s not something I particularly enjoy, but for serious athletes I'm sure the flavour is secondary anyway. My main issue with these is at £31.35 you’re paying just over a quid per serving and while this is a convenient product, that’s a lot to pay for something you can make for pennies per serving with very little effort. They’re not massively more expensive than other pre-made mixes out there, so if you’re alright with the asking price there isn’t anything wrong with the product itself.
