Very nice tool.
I wore out 2 Dremel 4300 tools before buying the VOTOER. The VOTOER has lasted longer than the two Dremels put together and is still going strong. I use the TKXEC Adjustable 4000W AC 110v Motor Speed Controller and it works perfect.

Quality Machine
Great, quality machine. This is the kind that will last you a lifetime if properly cared for. If you use your rotary tool often, this is worth the money. It has the power you need, and won't break down on you. The chuck is fantastic, lets me use all sizes of bits, and holds them securely. It does get a bit warm as you use it, but that's just how rotary carving works. Give it a few seconds to cool down if it's too hot on your hands. I've seen complaints about the foot pedal. It is indeed cheaply constructed, but I've used it quite a bit in the past six months and had no issues with it. I do recommend unplugging the carver when you're not using it, because if you're like me, you might tend to accidentally step on the pedal.

Nice tool for the price
Not sure what happened with the people that gave this a low rating but there were two main complaints I saw before I bought this: 1. The pedal control didn't work well 2. the internal drive shaft of the flex cable broke Well, I just unboxed mine and tested it out. The pedal works fine and DOES produce variable speeds. For those of you that had a problem with this, there is an adjustment screw. The pedal is nothing more than a switch. So no problems with that. I haven't used this for long so take this for what its worth, first, the company shipped this with an extra drive shaft in case of a break. Second, I ground down some metal bars, sharpened a knife, sanded some plastic, and used on various other surfaces. No problems, the thing works great and all my Dremel bits fit. I did buy this bundled with some other recommended products; some grinder bits, and a stand to hang it on. I have a complaint about the recommended stand. Whoever paired this hanging stand with this rotary tool obviously did not have the dimensions of the motor. The hook on the recommend stand was way to small and is worthless. This motor has a lot of torque and it falls right off this hook that doesn't quite get a good purchase on the hardware of the motor. I recommend that you get this tool first, then figure out how you will hang it. I am very satisfied with this product so far, its quiet, its strong, and it works and it was very reasonably priced when you compare to a Dremel tool at your local hardware store. My recommendation is "buy"

Amazing tool for engraving!
I didn't even realize this tool had a forward and reverse setting, but with the RPMs this can achieve, plus the ease of the foot peddle, I really couldn't ask for more. I know its not the cheapest model available, but it's totally worth it. When I 1st started using it, I did notice that some of the oil was caring up from the dust I was making, but that stopped happening after a couple hours of use. On other thing though. If you are planning on going hot and heavy with a project that requires sustained use at full RPM, you will notice the grinder heating up around the handle. I try not to use it for more than about 20 minutes at a time, but honestly, my wrist can't take that much detail work without a break anyway, so again, I think this is the perfect making for my purposes. Would totally buy again, but with how sturdy this thing is, I doubt I'll ever need to. Haha!

Very powerful tool
Update: May, 2022. I have used this tool probably about 8 times now since I purchased it. As I mentioned, because of reviews I’ve read I used fishing reel grease to lube the cable because of breakage. Yesterday I was using the tool and the shaft broke right at the connection to the motor. I have been extremely careful with the shaft and have always extended it so there was no pressure on it from binding. Well, it broke anyway. The company I purchased this from included an additional shaft, most likely because they are aware of the problem. I will be contacting them to find out what to expect from the new shaft and future support. It really is a good powerful motor and the head works well. I just hope that I won’t have to be continually replacing shafts to use it. This rotary tool is very powerful and has worked great so far. I took the flexible shaft apart and used some fishing reel grease to lube it up. I did this because of the many reviews for many of these brands that talk about the flexible shafts failing. It’s a really important step in my opinion to keep these shafts healthy. It’s also important not to bend the shaft at too sharp of an angle. This causes friction and resistance which can cause undue stress. My set up came with an extra internal shaft which is great in case of failure. The tool head works well and is comfortable in the hand. My foot peddle has a good range of speed but if yours doesn’t I understand there is an adjustment you can do to fix that.

Great service
Bought this as a go to with my Dremel, it worked great for 8 years, just got same type so now I have 2 rotaries and new motor. This machine was tough only replace the bolt to spin the rotary tool once from a very nasty snag that sheared it. Just screwed in new one and good to go. And, i replaced the bushings twice in the course of it's life. Recommend this company for a good inexpensive rotary tool.

Excellent quality.
Well the cheesy after-thought instructions might be the worst English I’ve seen, but it doesn’t matter; for a little over $100 this is an absolutely top-quality tool. The foot pedal lets you control speed while being able to focus on the pencil-grip grinding head, made out of beautifully-machined aluminum. The motor is powerful, variable-speed, and relatively quiet. Motor is housed in a pro-grade casting that hangs out of the way behind the work area. Its an excellent tool; a whole step up from a dremel.

the motor has lots of power. I use course kutzall burrs and have not had any problems with motor stalling. The foot switch allows handsfree operation, left hand holds the wood and the right does the carving. The motor has good torque and requires a sturdy hanger to keep motor steady.

Works great, easy to use, no problems yet.

Having it hanging is a good idea, all the torque can cause it to move.

Seems to work as it should. Still to spend more time using the product to determine longevity

Very satisfied with my rotary tool. Foot pedal has convenience and comfort to use. 1/4" collet has capability of all sizes of accessories. Flex shaft is long enough to accommodate most job. Motor would flex when first powered up. Solved that with custom stand and zip tee. Very good machine!!
