And these cables are good quality, long enough for my use, and work great with the Tripp Lite USB KVM Switch I have. You don't HAVE to use these cables, I used individual USB and VGA cables before, but these make it much easier and more reliable. Annoying that you have to buy the cables for the KVM, they don't come with the KVM. Still, price and performance considered, it's still a good deal and I would buy both aagain.

Excellent product. Like - it works as advertised. Disliked - Cable array somewhat over done. Too many options. Prefer something less busy. I only needed the USB, the other stuff is just literally hanging around.Recommendation: It's perfect for the home or back office. If you have more than a couple of desktops/servers and a couple of monitors, this is your product!

Working with HDMI, VGA, and DVI monitors and ports. The keyboard sometimes repeats characters or doesn't not relay the keyboard signal. Replacement did the same. Tech support said there is noting that can be done to fix that. I have not been able to find anything that works 100%

I ordered three of these cables for my Tripp Lite branded KVM. I didn't realize I needed them until after I ordered it (my own fault), but I'm glad I did. You could problably simply use extension VGA cables and some A/B USB cables, but I read many people having issues related to shielding of the video cables. I used these, and experienced no issues, and they reduced my desk clutter too.

Good quality. Sturdy construction.

The Tripp Lite KVM switch works very well and these cables are the perfect companions for it. The Tripp Lite switch has its own power and therefore does not get fooled like other switches which depend on power from the computers.

I got this KVM switch to consolidate several servers. It works great - just plug and play. One recommendation - I have found that if you reboot the computer without having it switched properly on the KVM, it will have problems identifying keyboard, mouse and monitor.
