Best for the price, for sure!
Amazon is my go-to for last minute everything. When one of our teachers decided, 3 days before school started, that she preferred "primary" composition books/journals, I popped over, hoping I could find a seller that had both a good price per book and could still get them to me before school started. These notebooks fit the bill. They're very good quality, particularly for the price (about $2 each when I purchased) and arrived quickly. The covers and paper aren't quite as thick as the name brand journals but they're plenty sturdy and, as it turned out, are the brand our teacher uses herself. These also have 100 pages inside, where others only have 80. I don't know that my child will use all 100 sheets but I feel that it adds to the value. Each page, both front and back, has a space at the top for a drawing, graph, whatever, which is perfect for Pre-K - 2nd grade kids, where most of their assignments tend to ask for a picture to go with their work. I'm clearly pleased with my purchase and recommend them to anyone who is looking for primary composition books/journals.

Home learning adventure
In the midst of the pandemic, my students at home are completing writing assignments on all sorts of paper. Some papers look like trash - I felt it was important that they have some basics to make a challenging time a tiny bit better. I ordered two for each of my students. Wish I could have gotten more, but the cost is prohibitive. They are nice journals, seem sturdy, but who knows how they will hold up? Only time will tell. Overall, I was pleased when I received them. Just wish they were a bit more affordable - especially now. Oh, and I would have loved to send them directly to the kids. I have 24 deliveries to do!

Not hardcover like the description says
Ordered a big ol pack of these for my kindergartener because they are expensive to buy individually, so the good deal was definitely a plus. It is actually just a cardboard type cover so it is flimsy but good for taking to and from school. These are actually the primary age ones, so they have a large blank section at the top for drawing pictures, and then the lines for writing at the bottom, so do not buy this if you are a college kid looking to take notes since it isn't that kind of composition book. Works great for little ones though.

Perfect for Young Writers
I teach in a first grade classroom and my team and I seek out these journals every year for our students! The colored lines help promote correct lettering strokes which students need at this age. The number of lines on each page is just enough so students are not overwhelmed about having to ‘fill a page’ with writing and the space for pictures above help motivate students as they know they can illustrate after writing. The journals last a really long time and don’t break down even with little hands managing them; overall a fantastic product that I highly recommend!

Durable
Great per item price because my Pre-K’er loves to write in addition to all the work his teacher assigns. He’s also able to write on both sides of the paper without it bleeding through. It holds up to his tossing around during play time and in and out of his book bags as he navigates throughout the house.

Good practicing
The come to a little over $2 for each book which is a great deal. I would like ifnthe pages were a little thicker but I guess that is why they are this price. Also, I would make the lines a little wider for learners doing lower-case letters, it's quite small.Otherwise, they are great. The drawing space helps so we can remember what was written about and makes the writing more fun.Thank you!
