We have stared homeschooling our grandchild . We are loving it. He has ADHD and it takes one on one instruction.Though we are still in unit1 of our subjects, It has its easier and then challenging moments, we are new to this and we are learning as we go . I see a much happier fellow sense we have started home schooling . We decided to get the Lifpac workbooks in the end instead of buying a program on DVD or doing a Skype> program. We believe we made the right choice in doing so

So far so good! It's been the perfect curriculum for my son! Easy to understand and he feels like he's actually accomplishing something every time he finishes one of the life packs. :)

its disappointment, the 1st and 2nd workbook on every subject are missinglanguage arts and Bible 1st and 2ndmath, history & geography, science the 1st one.I need the workbooks or a refund.

I just started homeschooling this year with my 5th grader and 3rd grader. My kids came out of the public school system and I decided to go with the LifePac because of cost and ease. The 5th grade books seems to be a filled with so much information for a 5th grader to retain. The history test are very long with 40 to 50 questions a piece. I was not prepared for all of the science experiments either. The science video experiments are sold separately or you will need to buy a microscope. My 5th grader is very smart so he has liked the challenge. It takes him a while to read through all of the information. I am not sure if we will be done by the end of the school year. Plus the books are not very inviting for 5th grade. The books look more like a high school or college book instead of a 5th grade book. The 3rd grade pack that my daughter uses is very kid friendly and inviting. You can tell that the 2 grades were not written by the same people.
