OXO Good Grips 3 Piece Pop Container Set with Scoop,White

At first I thought these containers were too small but they have worked very well. The different sizes are great. They are airtight and very well made. I have ordered additional ones in varying sizes. Love the pop top.

First off, I just want to say the initial shock of the price was definitely worth it, at least for me. If you're on the fence about buying them, I would keep reading or look at some reviews.I have owned many OXO products before, and they're all really well made and usually worth the price, so I knew what I was getting into with these containers. I've had them for two weeks now, and I've ordered additional larger containers for kitchen staples like granulated sugar and flour.PROS:Design - They're very modern looking! I really love the way they look, I was actually kind of sad to relegate them to the pantry. Since they have squared bottoms, they stack very easily and that helps me save space in my pantry. The clear plastic is also nice, I can see what's inside without having to fumble around with plastic bags.Airtight Seal - The only other way to get a seal like this would be with a Ziploc bag or some Tupperware, but those don't organize and nest nearly as easily. Keeps everything fresh!Different Sizes - There's a ten piece set as well, but I was looking for larger containers. Some of the containers are specific to certain items (the tall ones for spaghetti, smaller ones for herbs, etc.) but I've found you can be pretty creative in putting whatever you want into them. I could put my entire pantry in these if they weren't so expensive!Pourable - The rounded design of the corners makes it really easy to just pour stuff out into a bowl (and scooping things out into measuring cups is easy as well!)They're really easy to clean! - The lids come apart and reassemble with ease. With the clear plastic, it's easy to see if anything got stuck to the sides of the containers.CONS:Price - They're very expensive, and they don't have a consistent price-to-size ratio. If you're looking for containers for specific objects, I would avoid buying a set. Instead, try to pick out ones that fit exactly what you're looking for.They're SLIPPERY! - I was holding one of the two medium containers filled with brown sugar, and I wasn't paying attention and I nearly dropped it! Other reviewers have given issues about the durability if you drop them, so that's definitely something to be concerned about.Overall, I would say buy these containers but keep these things in mind. Personally, I would buy sets and just keep them all (because they're so pretty!) and find uses for them, but that's not for everyone. Regardless, these containers are great at keeping food fresh and your pantry organized!

These are perfect to keep food and snacks fresh. Well made and good variety of sizes.

I bought a set for me and my mother. Living in a southern, humid state bugs and stale food are often a problem. These are perfect….. and cheaper than I have found anywhere else.

This item got 4 stars because the colour of the lids is more of a creamy white colour, not a true white like the rest of my set.If these are all you’re getting, you’ll never notice the difference, but if you’re adding this set to an existing set, or plan to add more to this set, then I’m just letting you know that the lid colours will not match. Mine are in my pantry and I can still notice the difference!In addition, these containers have been upgraded. The new lids are streamline and also do not fit on these containers. If you have this style of containers and plan to add more, start shopping now. I suspect that when the outlet shops run out of these, you’ll only be able to get the new style (which don’t match and the lids are not interchangeable).

The cannisters are very nice as expected. The reason for a 4 rating is that the scoop was not included.

We really like these. We mostly use them for cereal and snacks because they do a good job keeping the food fresh without the constant hassle of the bag/box. The best part is you can just look in the pantry and see how much of each cereal or snack you have left, instead of having to inspect each box. You do have to periodically wipe the rim of the container and the silicone seal to remove the cereal dust so that the lids will seal and grip properly.I tried using them for flour, but the flour gets on the silicone seal and then it doesn't seal the container well. You also have to rinse the flour off, just wiping with a rag doesn't work well enough because the flour is so fine and really sticks to the silicone. I do still use one for brown sugar. Because it's already "wet", it doesn't have the problem with the seal.My only real complaint is they are a little expensive given their very simple construction. I assume it's a high-profit item for OXO, so kudos to them for designing a smart product, but I wish I could afford more of them. We've had them for 5 years now and no issues at all.

Love these storage containers , bit more expensive than some but worth every penny .

tengo dos juegos el paquete grande y este mediano que compre para complementar. es super bueno para una familia de 4 para organizar nueces, harinas, frijoles, deja la alacena organizada y por ser transaparante muy facil de ver que vamos a cocinar o merendar.Tambein son muy facilies de limpiar la tapa de desarma y se limpia muy facil. los recomiendo 100% - lo unico que debes tener cuidado es que no se pueden llenar hasta arriba porque si si no cieran bien hay que dejar un espacio

Estos botes los encuentro ideales para guardar el té, café molido en la nevera, arroz aromatizado. Para guardar pasta o legumbres quizás resulten caros.El botón de la tapa crea un vacío que al mismo tiempo hace que lo puedas sujetar sin problemas.El pack en sí no es caro puesto que son 5 botes, el problema es que el más alto es altísimo, está pensado para espaguetis muy largos y no coge en cualquier sitio. Y si se compran sueltos pues sale más caro.Recomiendo su compra, es bueno tener unos cuantos para guardar cosas delicadas pero no para cualquier cosa.

¿Cuabtas veces me he comprado botes con un diseño bonito y que al cabo de 1 mes el producto no se conserva bien y cuando abres el bote y lo ueles no está bueno? Me ha pasado con pasta, con papilla del bebe, con cereales.....Desde que compré estos botes por primera vez cuando vivia en Escocia me encantaron y ahora que los he encontrado por Amazon estoy encatada y he comprado este pac dos veces!!! Lo tengo todo en estos botes herméticos!!

I only opened these tonight but had ordered 2 sets of 5 a while ago. The first box I opened only had 4 containers in it. I got 2x tall ones and none of the half sizes. Can I have this fixed? I don't need that many large ones. I don't know how to contact amazon about this? Other than that, I think they will be awesome.
