Junie B. Jones Collection: Not a Crook; Party Animal; Beauty Shop Guy; Smells Something Fishy; (Almost) a Flower Girl; Mushy Gushy Valentine; Peep in Her Pocket; Captain Field Day

I ordered this Junie B Jones audio set from Amazon.com at a reduced rate from what I could purchase it at my local bookstore and am very pleased. In addition, I own the previous boxed audio set (Books 1-8). Both are equally popular among my students. I am a Kindergarten teacher and oringally purchased the initial boxed set because my students are such huge fans of Junie B and didn't have enough time in our schedule to read all of the books they requested during class time. However, if my students are working on large, independant projects, they will always request that I put on a Junie B CD to listen to while they work. I purchased the second boxed set as we'd listened to the first eight stories so often they practically had them memorized. This would also be a great purchase for parents to use at home. They would be great as a bedtime book for children to fall asleep to at night. Each story runs about 45 minutes. I am amazed that my students are able to stay focused on an audio story for this extended amount of time, but I know that they do, because they laugh at all the right times. I highly recommend the Junie B Jones audio boxes. The initial investment is around $[...] (on Amazon.com),but you receive many stories for the money.

Great series and well read audio books, very much helps on the commute with my 5 yr old would but again

My daughter loves this book. She is 7-years old. She kept reading this book for hours by herself and made the happy laugh all the time during the reading. I enjoy that moment.We have Junie B.Jones whole set books and viedos at home. They r my daughter first chapter book. And my daughter start her first jounal just like Junie B."Dear first grade Jounal...". She use Junie B.'s words all the time. And the more important thing she got for it is how Junie B. deal with mean kids...how Junie B. got happy even from the bad things... : )We listen the viedos on our way to her school over and over and get laugh at it again and again.Love it. Only too sad for not 2nd grader...

We purchased all three sets and our daughter LOVES them. She has always had a hard time going to sleep at night and we turn these on as a way to occupy her mind as she tries to fall sleep. We've tried to coax her to try other books on cd...but she is set on Junie B. That being said, don't think these are mello...fall asleep kind of stories...they are very energetic and fun to listen to. I am honestly surprised she can fall asleep to them, but it works for us.

I love Junie B jones. It's a talented author that can make BOTH kids and parent laugh!! I bought these for my girls to listen to at bedtime. I can hear them laughing and talking the whole time. My problem is that I expected 1 story per cd. That way I could put in a CD and they could listen to the whole thing while falling asleep. But these CDs have a story and a half on them, so they are either starting in the middle of a story, or listen to one and half of another. I would have really liked one story per CD. But , like I said, we love some Junie B in this house, and we LOVE how Lana Quintal reads the books. She's a hoot!

These came pretty fast, but I was a little disappointed that I received 2 of the same books. We did get 9 books instead of 8 though lol. Just missing one from the set. Good price for all of these books though so, excited for that.

kids love the books, we use the audio version for long car rides. reason why this gets a 4 star is the volume is low. my radio and other music CDs, the volume in my car is set to 22. unfortunately with the Junie B Jones audio collection, volume has to be minimum of 35 to be able to hear

We love it! Especially the cute little voice that makes it more entertaining! We purchased this to listen to on a 7 hour road trip. Even my adult kids love listening to it while traveling. It has made for many family laughs. We already have books 1-8 on dvd. We will definitely continue adding to our collection!

Our children (2, 4, and 7) love the Junie B. Jones audio collections. They are great for car rides and and an amusing listen even for the parents. Wish there were more.

A nice story but lacking some richness and detail. I think children enjoy details that enhance a story and provide richness.
