S.F Sorrow

Great record package and excellent value. These will be sort after by collectors once the last one has been sold.. so get in there fast!!

I love The Pretty Things and can't possibly do this album justice with a review. It's a wonderful ride through a land which is rather steampunk with some great songs - all diamonds, not a zircon in there. Brilliant guitar playing from Dick Taylor,(one of the original lineup of the Rolling Stones). The wonderfully poetic lyrics of Phil May, (or 'God' if you're David Bowie). It's a great Concept album and would have come out before the Who's Tommy... but that's a bit of history which fades into insignificance now. I recommend it to anyone with ears and imagination. Meet SF Sorrow and follow him through happiness and, well... sorrow. Wally Waller, Jon Povey, Skip Alan and Twink round out the group, Skip having quit the band during recording to get married and Twink taking his place on the drums.

What a lovely package, seems that it was so far ahead of its time that it barely registered when first released all those years ago.

In my opinion one of the top 10 albums of all time, lovely package with all the extras. If too pricey I'd recommend purchasing alternative package or listen to album on one of the various streaming services.

This set went way beyond my expectations. The lavish package is amazing and the reproductions of the sleeves is top notch. The mastering, pressings and sound of all the vinyls is superb, there isn't a crackle or pop to be heard anywhere.All this and hand signed reflections by the band member make it an essential purchase for any S.F.Sorrow fan.
