Pre-bent cable with visible stress marks – potential signal risk
When I received the cable, it already had a very tight pre-bend close to 90 degrees with visible stress marks on the shielding. For a PCIe 5.0 riser, this is concerning because such sharp bends can affect impedance stability and long-term signal integrity. High-speed PCIe 5.0 links are extremely sensitive, and mechanical stress like this can lead to intermittent issues over time. I recommend inspecting the cable very carefully before installing it in a system
