Really glad these are sold on Amazon—hard to find in hardware stores
My new house is pre-1960s so all but two of the outlets are two prong. This works as advertised and we’re essential to plug in my kitchen appliances. I’m using one for both my microwave and keurig with no issues. I bought another one for my laptop and work equipment. Plugs are easy to pull in and out. There are only three outlets on the strip. The only downside was trying to plug in my wireless router and cable box was an issue because they had transformers attached to the plugs. When trying to plug them in side by side they didn’t work.

Charges USB and multiple Apple items
We purchased one, and, weeks later, we purchased another. We charge Kindles and Apple products, and now we can do it where triple prongs are not available. We have an old house and wiring is a problem. This power strip has not been overloaded, and it doesn’t buzz or overheat.

Not a Surge Suppressor
First let us establish what this device is not: It is NOT by any stretch of anyone's definition a surge suppressor. There is also no GF (ground fault) detection. Any device that requires a safety ground (i.e. a 110V AC lamp with a metal body) should NOT be connected to this strip. It is a power strip with a switch and four USB ports. That switch may be a resettable circuit breaker (impossible to determine from an external examination). That is ALL it is.There is an LED to indicate when power is switched on. There is also a capacitor and I believe two resistors used to power that LED. The safety grounds of the three 110V outlets are connected each other and nothing else. This by itself is a dangerous design decision. If one device with a safety ground and conducting chassy shorts out then the conducting chassy of any other device connected to this power strip will also be electrified. While some people extoll the advantages of the non-polarized plug they should be aware that only totally insulated/isolated circuits should be connected to this power strip. FYI: that includes most desktop/tower computers. Devices that utilize power bricks or wall warts should be safe. The reason I purchased this strip is that it works for my intended use which is to provided power for lights and display for a photographic copy stand. The lights and camera are USB powered. The Display uses a 12 Volt wall wart. I also know and have marked the side of the plug that should be oriented to the 'hot' side of the receptacle.

Old house with 2-prong outlets!
With limited outlets and 2-pronged outlets, it was necessary to enlarge the outlet quantities to take care of the many 2- and 3-pronged electrical gizmos a typical family has. I wish this power strip had more than 3 outlets, and wider spacing between the outlets for larger adaptors that came with some electronics. It does have 4 USB charging ports, using those for a battery bank, a personal neck fan, and a handwarmer. I have one power strip in the a bedroom for TV, receiver and CD/DVD player, and the rest wherever I need additional power. I bought at least 4 of these power strips in white; they had black, too. Works as expected, and I'm thankful they are 2-prong plugs since I have an OLD house with 21st century plugs.

Ideal For My Purposes
This surge suppressor is ideal for my purposes and I have to strongly disagree with any negative comments I have heard about it. It is two-pronged and is manufactured from heat resistant materials. It is effective and inexpensive. I have used it for months without problems. I was so impressed I bought another one to have a spare on hand if needed. I use it for my desktop computer and printer. I would recommend it to anyone. Just be sure and read the instructions that come with it. I give this one a hearty thumbs up! It is a great value for the money, very easy to use and the cord is actually long enough to be useful.

2-Prong Power Strip
Exactly what we needed since our outlets don’t accept 3-prong plugs. Additional USB ports was also nice to have.

Good quality!
I have an old house wired for two prong plugs, so this power strip fits the bill for conversion to three prong.I especially like the long cord,my current outlet is behind the fridge ,plugged it in and it goes around refrigerator to my counter. I believe it is really good quality.
